Horseback riding - brings me back to childhood when our family did the same in Baguio (where you all must visit for the cool, clean air and fresh vegetables and the Good Shepherd goodies you can bring home there!). Papa Sergei looks so dignified on horseback, even with the small Filipino horse! I love how Andrei is so watchful over his nephews, so that he holds Vanya's arm all throughout his ride. Good thing Andrei is so tall that he's just as high as Vanya riding on top of the horse! And his holding Arseny tightly while swimming in the pool! Watching these videos is really so relaxing and good for the spirit! Thank you, and keep enjoying everything that the Philippines and Filipinos can offer to you all! In response to your beautiful portrayal about the Philippines Liza, my take on this matter is, though, Philippines has all the nice things you mentioned above but without money, the ordinary citizens will not survive the challenges of every day life. Filipinos go abroad for one reason that I know of "Economics". Filipinos go abroad to seek brighter future, to alleviate their standard of living of their families. If Philippines can offer decent pay to every working Filipino, I assume no one wants to go outside the country. Leaving your family to work abroad is a sacrifice a person takes but that's the way it is. It's the future that matters, to give your family the comfort in life especially if there are children involve. Their education is important to support so they can create a better life for themselves unlike their parents who struggled to keep ends meet. If you stay long enough in the Philippines you will see the evidence of my point. There are many college graduates that cannot find work that match their vocations. They ended up getting a job that is not up to what they went to school for but for the sake of survival, they will apply for whatever is open and available.
