I guess what is going on here is that Jose Sanchez expectations for his children was to be more than what he is, a simple gardener. However, I'm sure Jesus Sanchez faced a new problem that his father was unaware of. Chuchos opportunities were limited due to his race and didn't like the hand he was being dealt and rather go all out. All his life he has been walking the thin line between life and death. It was beginning to finally catch up to him and there was nothing anyone could do. To his father working hard was nothing and to see his boy insult his struggles would piss off any man. It always takes a woman's touch to make a man back off from violence but more so it being his mother. His disrespect to his family was the final nail on his coffin to seal his fate.
@jasonmuniz88025 жыл бұрын
In the US, a chicano will only be a tercero. First is the Anglo Saxon then the Afroamericano. In third place, the Hispanic(usually Mexican American). But always fearful because of his Latinamerican Catholic background. Or a chicano can rebel, become a bandit/guerrillero and roam all over Latin America.
