Congratulations on taking such brave steps. You are the one that got me to do more research on Gaza and the Palestine people vs Israel conflict and why the USA should not continue to be a part of the genocide of the Palestine people. Along with your education and reading Ta-Nehishi Coates’ New York Times book called “The Message” really set me straight about the genocide, racism and discrimination happening in Gaza based on an agreement made between the USA and Israel made way back when. The Democrats and Republicans are way off base when it comes to 1 ) minding their own business, 2) eliminating racism and discrimination against Blacks in America, and 3) managing a budget without raping the poor. Although I fault the Democrats for being “fucking” clueless as to how to listen to its constituents and create messaging that connect with new voters vs offering up a bunch of celebrity concerts expecting 20 million new voters, what saddens me the most is how they were not brave enough to standup for the Palestine people earlier, and even worse, NOT fight harder for democracy prior to handing the keys to the White House over to a convicted criminal! Now, look at where we are. We may be in the same situation Palestine is coming out of! Amanda, thank you for your untiring wokeness.
