I'm not sure how it works in Florida but here in Georgia we can go to the Police Department pay $10 for a vehicle immobilization permit and start booting. Then you can update your property contracts to reflect that and make a little money on the side. 😂 here we can charge 250 for regular vehicles and no more than 500 for commercial. Now I've never actually booted someone's car for two reasons, one is I actually don't like giving people a hard time despite what these bastards may think😂 and the second reason is because as soon as I pull it out the excuses disappear. Lol.. I hear you talk about wishing we had more Authority and I agree that's why I try and use every tactic that gives us the most legal Authority and it's extra stuff like this that helps. The first big one being what you put in your contracts on private property

"You be doin too much" The moment someone says this, it is safe to go ahead and end that conversation and move along. Its dam near 2024. Security hasnt been strictly "observe and report" since 9/11 and since the first wave of BLM security has increasingly stepped into being "private police" forces to the point where even local governments are hiring security to provide first responder and patrol services for courthouses, neighborhoods, and even entire towns/cities. Ffs go to Las Vegas and you'll see security forces with actual trained and certified S.W.A.T. teams (not a bunch of tacti-cool goobers). And yet too much of the public (and those who work at the lower end of the industry still doing old school "observe and report" guard stuff) are stuck in the 90's and very early 2000's. They see security doing anything besides driving around a golf cart or sitting in a booth, or wearing a uniform that is more than just a polo with a company logo and a pair of slacks, and their immediate reaction is that security must be "doing too much". I dont understand it, I never will understand it.

I guard a gated neighborhood from time to time. There is a visitor lane and a resident lane, but some vehicles we let right through the visitor lane without checking in like mail curriers or EMS. One day I see a FedEx truck so I let him right in, as he’s driving through the gate one of the residents almost gets into an accident with a near miss and blamed it on me. The thing is that the lanes are shaped in a way that the FedEx truck had the right of way, so he would have been at fault if he actually hit the thing. He told me that I should have held up the truck long enough for him to pass.

😂 Or take a wheel off then call police...when they show up they have to tow it bc its considered abandoned depends on your locality..if you REALLY want to piss off the handicap cheater

This falls into an immediate tow when you willingly park in a handicapped parking space or any exit or entrance impeding vehicle movements. That woman would have been giving one written warning after that since she kept doing it ----- her tow that vehicle. All that drama over the owner not having a tow policy and yea blame security when her own actions caused it. Now since Karen told you she doesn't give a ---- time tow her till she moves.
