I've loved almost all of these episodes. But this one was my absolute favorite. I'm super jealous of Travis; getting to perform boy band songs on stage on the regular. I'm a straight 43 year old man who's completely secure enough to admit I love boy band music more than any other genre. And I also have a dream of being talented enough to be in a boy band. So hearing the inner workings of Travis' projects was like living out a small portion of my dream. Thank you for enlightening me to Travis & the work he does!

I really respect that the guest has created a show and marketed it to the people who were originally the fan base of the boy bands music performed at this show. He has made the show a profitable and successful act and he has not pigeonholed himself by allowing a political agenda to dictate his career and attitude. So many LGBT artists have allowed radical ideology to encompass their entire life and careers, to their own detriment. Anyone criticizing the group or show for “not being gay enough” is making a bigoted argument. Someone’s sexuality is their own bloody business and a politically driven group does not have the right to gate-keep what gay looks like. Any criticism is simply done out of jealousy and to spitefully manipulate others to limit their financial and artistic success. This show has the potential for massive success and to provide joy to an unlimited amount of people. If he can retain his attitude and appreciate for the show’s guests, and not allow others biased, bigoted and sexists attitudes to change how he feels about the customers willing to pay to enjoy his show, it could grow to be a business that lasts forever. As new boy bands are “discovered”, and then fade as newer acts become popular, the show has new material for ticket holders to enjoy.

I just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that they fought so hard for the word marriage. But they refuse to play within the guidelines or respect the traditional sense of it. Way to keep him honest on that Tosh!

It's about power for the minority. Famous comedian said "it's gonna be the flag they want and then your kids" and it's true. Drag queen story hour for toddlers. Like why isn't there a drag queen story hour for grown ups. It's cause they don't want your grown ups. They want your kids

I agree, it seems kinda weird, but you gotta keep in mind all the other things marriage confers. Like if your partner is dying in a hospital, if you're not married, they might not let you in to see him. Plus, if you have joint property it can be harder to inherit if you're not legally related. Basically, it's a way of being a legal member of the same family more than a promise of fidelity.

It's cute that you think straight couples keep to these "traditional guidelines." As defined by whom? Throughout history, marriage has had a financial benefit/component to it. If some people choose to marry just for that, good for them. If people choose to marry for the safety net with someone that they love and trust, but they each sleep with other people, good for them. Plus, I know one (straight) married couple who have been happily together for nearly 20 years, and they're swingers. I think you'd be surprised to find out what goes on behind closed doors in many marriages, straight or gay.

Yea unfortunately if they can't legally marry, they're gatekept from a lot of important relationship issues. You're naive to think only gay couples swing like that..
