They know. It's crazy expensive. You have to keep going back as you lose more hair. You have to take drugs all the time. There's recovery time after each procedure where you look horrible. I'm a perfect candidate. No thinning or balding in the back just a slowly creeping hairline. I decided there were better ways to spend tens of thousands of dollars over the next decade. I'm taking my receding hairline to Greece this summer.

thank you for pointing this out, as I didn't notice, and had NO IDEA there were other alternatives besides (seemingly dangerous) Propecia and transplants! I looked up Dutasteride, a more effective and safer Propecia alternative (although still being used off-label, apparently). THANK YOU!

I got the PRP treatment. There was slight hair restoration but it may be keeping me from further thinning. I use an ice pad while they’re working on the blood, then they offer me the nitrous gas.

I thought when I went to RIT (happens to be the National Technical Institute for the Deaf) that I'd learn sign language... turns out the greatest benefit is that I can lip read well enough to know a bunch of comedians that care too much abt their hair. Worth the $250k for sure.

I had alopecia and my dermatologist said I was lucky because the area was still reddish, which means blood flow to the area. So after multiple rounds of steroid injections in my scalp I got a nice patch of baby hair growing in. Eventually it came in normally. But the whole ordeal was rough.

I do prp treatments every 6 months now. The beginning was so rough with them so close together 4 times. Still maintaining my hairline and vertex for 12 years since i noticed thinning. Finasteride, rogaine, and PRP is literally the best. I still have thick salt and pepper hair at 32 with no transplants. Dont wait until its gone if you dont want to go bald! Haha editing this because i always feel like it is hitting my skull lol the pain is worth the results 😂 this episode was perfect for me. I also love a routine been at the same med device company for 9 years. I work in regenerative medicine i love this stuff. I pay 2100 for 1.5 years of treatment at a time with a volume duscount.
