I am extremely novice at card sleight of hand. I can do a different variation of the time machine, so I know enough to see what you're doing without having watched the full tutorial. Your skills are so refined, that it looks effortless, but I know better. I'm just in awe of your ability to do these incredible lifts. Moving the card from the middle to the top while spinning... holy moly! The practice to get these motions down must have been immense!

Hey Chris! Thanks for another great tutorial. I have read a lot of the books you've recommended and have gotten better, but I'm a visual person and the little tips and tweaks you, and others like you, show have helped bridge some learning gaps. I’ve found Using your intro about time as patter for this trick has a great impact on people. I also enjoy using it in the ambitious card routine as well. I got a chance to test it over the last weekend, and using a version of your intro as patter got great reactions.

I just spent a lot of time practicing this trick because it was baffling me for a while how the cards were showing up like they were even after learning how the trick works. I am afraid someone will so me palm the card, even though I have large hands. Nonetheless, I am excited to try it out!

I added a cool thing where after the time travel affect, you take the same top card and put it back into the middle, but upon turning it as before, it turns into a chosen card. I do this by controlling a chosen card to the bottom, then doing this time travel affect. I would leave the top card that would be left up there from the time travel affect, and control the chosen card to the top from the bottom. I show the top card and yada yada do the spinny thing and the card changes again into the chosen card. I think it is cool because we could use the time travel affect as a cool way to demonstrate how the cards work, and then we show the chosen card.
