Just getting into glides. Crazy how tuned they have to be for different actions. I'm designing one now that I hope to be an all around smaller glide.

Wanna tell you 1 of my favorite big bait stories. Committed to the game, about 10 years ago. My 1st bait was a Spro BBZ trout. On my very 1st trip out, I was floating the trout over a chunk rock dam ledge, that dropped from about 12', to 50'+. During the painfully slow retrieve, I watched 3 6-7lbers come up from deep off the ledge, and just hover under the bait......seemed like, forever!. Not really knowing what to do, at that point, I twitched the bait, very slightly. Instantly, 2 peeled off, and went back deep. The 3rd stayed, and followed, until she saw me, and peeled off, as well. That was my very 1st experience with big baits, and I've been addicted, ever since.

@@MattStefanFishing they just put out a small batch of them but I wasn’t fast enough. Gone in minutes of course. But I’ve been wanting one for awhile and said to hell with it I’ll spend an extra $100 bucks and get one on eBay. I hear you Matt on how expensive it is. I’m the same way. I see these custom swimbait and have to by it. DRT tiny klash is a good one to. Crank it over tips of grass or off rocks and the big girls bite. Thank you for you content. About to go tie on the new savage gear pulse tails. The big one. And go creep it tomorrow morning in this cold weather. You have got to take a look at the toxic baits wake n crank. Super simple bait, and not really appealing in the realism department, but man they just get bites. Don't sleep on it. This is one that every swimbait angler needs to have. I feel like it hits the same pats craze that went on years ago but at a much more understandable price and are easy to come by which makes them easier to throw without caution.

I’ve been getting into swimbaits for the past couple of years. Mainly soft baits like the Huddleston but I’ve had more success with glide baits. I found a really cheap 6” glide they’re like $5.50 a piece and they’re my favorite. They swim great, slash like it’s nothing and 180 turn like a dream. I had two and unfortunately lost them both due to bad spots in my line but I highly recommend them for new swimbait guys. They’re cheap and catch big fish like the rest of them. I found them on Facebook market place like two years ago and haven’t been able to find anymore since.

Also, as mentioned earlier, try a KGB Legend if you get a chance to get in on a drop. Thats been my best producer for big bites so far.
