Jimmy I've only been in the hobby for 5 years. I love your videography, it's amazing! I've been interested in make video's since I found my dad's old camcorder when I was 12 and made sci-fi movies with my childhood friends. Of course I am now an adult and father of two, but your videos have inspired me to try to film what I am passionate about, fish. I started a channel, not to educate, not even to grow it into something huge, simply to enjoy and document my journey in the aquarium hobby. However I too hate my voice, I suffer with terrible allergies that make my voice very raspy at times, sometimes for weeks at a time. But I decided, you know what this is me and I have no reason to feel embarrassed. I just wanted to say thank you and keep pushing the boundaries and experimenting.

unfortunately, the galaxy rasbora isn't actually called galaxy rasbora it ain't even a rasbora at all it's a danio: Celestichthys Margaritatus / Celestial Pearl Danio personally I just don't understand why they didn't leave the galaxy and just change the rasbora into danio.... A well...

Hey man I have a celestial rasabora only tank! I love those guys. The males are so pretty. Look like miniature rainbow trout. Shape wise, takes a little imagination. But that’s how I try to look at all my tanks, try to forget ratios. Look at your tank like it’s 5000 gallons, and all your fish are like 3 feet long lol. It’s weird, yes i know.

Celestial Pearl danios are my favorite fish too. I have a school of four in a small shrimp tank and watching the interactions between the two species it's quite interesting when you drop in some food.

Jimmy, you're my favorite KZbin channel. I think mostly because you ARE in the middle between sensational and educational. Actually, even more than that, I find your uploads so professional that I envy your abilities and talents (and cameras of course) so the occasional diversion to something different (AI voice over in this case) is not only welcomed but a refreshing change from the boring normal. Otherwise we'll all have to go back to another "unboxing" video. ugh! I have been trying myself for the past 6 months to make a go with the Galaxy Rasboras but not with much success. These are my FAVORITE fish. I have 7 tanks, 3 of them have CPD's (the other tanks are 6G betta or peapuffers!!) My 40GB has 24 my 20G has 16 and my 10G has 6, they are super happy and the colors are fabulous. SO cute.

CPD's are my all-time favorite fish too. They weren't around when I first got into aquariums back in the 90's. Once we decided to get back into the hobby, they quickly became my favorite fish overall. My CPD's are breeding nearly year round. However, the survival rate is rather low. I have to manual rescue any fry I see or they'll be gone within 24 hours. I'm sure the other CPD's are preying upon them, but I also have four _Hara jerdoni_ in the same tank. My wife calls them 'Kitty Sharks' because they're catfish and have the same locomotion as most shark species. Plus, the nickname 'kitty shark' is quite accurate. They're great hunters and eat tiny organisms in the blink of an eye. It also took me over a year to search out and acquire my CPD's. Most CPD's here in Arizona cost around $9-12 per fish, so I'm thrilled that I'm getting new ones for free. After all, isn't successful breeding without human intervention a sign of a healthy environment? We must be doing something right! Keep up the good work my friend. PS - I'd like to request a CPD print if I am one of the lucky ones. My wife still loves the _Pseudomugil luminatus_ which are hard to beat too.
