Game Changer is so much fun! My wife and I are binging it now after finding the first season on youtube.

There was also a weird game show/reality named Solitary (and Solitary 2.0) that I really liked. Lot of different rules and weird mechanics that generated schadenfreudian dynamics (sometimes disgusting too).

This was a fun watch! Glad you enjoy my show. Would be happy to discuss any design stuff about it if you wanted to. It's been a great number of years measuring what flows best for a twitch game show. Feel free to drop me a line if that's a fun or useful conversation!

Game Changer looks like it could be game of Mao as a game show

Thanks for showing Arcade Pit. I am enjoying it a lot (and now have a new game show I would love to be on someday). Snailser is the best.

100% the best game shows. I was watching Arcade Pit every Wednesday on Giant Bomb for a while, and I'm getting myself a Dropout subscription for my birthday so I can binge Game Changer HARD. I also really enjoyed watching MXC back in the day, not really a game show but the combination of absurd overdubs and silly physical challenges really spoke to me, and years later I realized I recognized the show's opening theme as a song by my favorite musician. Don't know how it's aged though, probably badly.

My dad used to do that sort of racing when I was a wee one. Eventually my sister came along and he had to stop racing on the side. If you find joy in learning a game as much as playing it, are you familiar with the card game Mao? I had never heard of Arcade Pit til this vid.
