@1:08 Phil, set the knobs to your liking, then, remove them and reinstall them so all the lines point to 12 O'clock. That way, when you glance at your pedals, as long as they all point to 12 O'clock, you know they haven't been moved. You're welcome.

Just wanted to say that your content has progressively increased in it's professionalism. It went from a channel that I clicked on every now and then to one that I find myself watching more and more. Little things like the 'independent review' or 'product provided' in the bottom left are what makes that little bit of difference. Also, your playing and tone has become very enjoyable to listen to. Great work!

Nice video, Phil. I'd also like to see a video on the Piece of Gear That Was Not Quite There But You're Intrigued By And Will Be Watching. I'm thinking something like the Tonemaster. Your video seemed like you were overall meh on buying it right now but definitely saw the potential for it to be something you'd want. I'd love to know if there are things like that you've come across. The Spark might even be there for me. I'm glad I have one but if I were to advise someone else I'd say wait for the 2nd edition where they maybe will put a looper in there (the thing I think it misses to make it the perfect practice amp)

WOW! on LAG. So cool to see! I walked into a GC earlier this year just as a quick duck in to see if anything electric caught my eye. It didn't. So, a quick check of the acoustic room just for fun (not needing an acoustic). I saw an Alvarez, played it, was impressed with it...then I saw a LAG hanging next to it, took it off the wall - strummed it and almost laughed out loud, wound up walking out with that acoustic...which I didn't need. LAG guitars are PHENOMENAL. Fantastic quality, playability and sound for the $$. HIGHLY recommend

Yes, I would love to see the regret video. We all have those regret lists. I wish I still had my old Silvertone Bass and Amp from the 1960s. The Amp wasn't very good but the Bass was a Danelectro Bass made for Sears' Silvertone line of musical stuff. The Bass was small scale but mighty. I also regretfully, sold my speaker cabinet that was for my 1960s Band master Amp. I still have the Amp, thank goodness. I had an echo-plex stolen from me, and I wished I had it back. I had a 1970s Ventura 335 copy, that I regret selling. It would have been fun to put some really nice pickups into it and see how that went. And I miss my old Kay acoustic that had a beautiful sound to it. It too was from the 1960s. Lastly, I regret a losing a couple of mic stands that were Radio Shack mic stands from the 1970s. They had shiny covers over the base of the stands. Nobody else sold Mic Stands that looked like that.

Wuh, I was astonished to have the ENGL on top of the list. I play sometimes an old ENGL Straight 100 Watts from about 1985. The 100 Watts is simply overpowered these days, but I remember, when I was trying something else, only the ENGL asserts himself in all demands in a band, no matter if hard or hearty or clean or juicy to the point of vomiting, the Engl can always be heard. How it is done, that he knows how to defy all other instruments in the sound, no idea. Nothing muddy there, and the sound is extreme variable. In the eighties they had an equalizer on them that could be programmed and set the controller to the stored state itself by means of a motor. When it comes to inventive inventions, always ask the Germans ...
