You are confirming what I do. Thank you for encouraging me. I am on the right path. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, but the options they offer I don´t want to even try. I had been diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago and it seems like it came back. As far as the carrot and apple juice, I only have one glass a day, most of the foods i eat are plant based. I cut out most of the dairy for a while, now i'm eating very little bread , Not as committed as i was at first, because it is a hard journey, but I appriciate this email because it makes me want to go back and get that book out and see what i can do to help myself Thanks for the encouragement and Good luck with your journey!! And I want to add that Sue's channel helped me out so much. And she has been there, when i needed to ask questions, and for support. If you need to, I am here to give the same support. C

I've watched a few of your videos and find them very helpful thank you. I've juiced several times over the years. I am trying to heal skin cancer on my nose. I'm 2 days into a three day fast water only, then will start vegetables juicing. I have a question about a past video where you had to go to the hospital because of (I believe) low sodium in the blood? I always thought we needed salt added to our diets? Some say no, you can get enough salt from food? Did you conclude a diagnosis for the issue that arose for you? Thank you
@susanresig84522 жыл бұрын
Hi James, the low sodium has nothing to do with GERSON. I’d been off GERSON for about 3 years at that point. It was due to a medication. GERSON is adamant about no salt. There is sodium in our vegetables naturally. If you are truly interested in the Gerson therapy you need to follow it fully and completely. Get the book and educate yourself to do your best.

Hi. I’ve been watching your channel. I have a question. I’m trying to start my journey with the Gerson therapy. I told my cousin about it and she says why do you cook the vegetables that long, you are cooking all the nutrients out of it. Sounds like it but can you tell me why you cook the veggies so long? Love your channel. It isn’t easy to do this therapy
@susanresig84523 жыл бұрын
Hi, you are correct, it is a challenging therapy, but at the end of it you’ll be stronger and healthier. I don’t know of anyone who has ever done the traditional route of chemo, rad, or surgery who can say the same, they usually spend years trying to recover from the treatment. Now to answer your question. I don’t know. I think it’s because most sick people have poor digestion. It’s a very Old school European way of cooking and Dr G was that. Do realize we cook vegetables with as little water as possible or better yet use hippo soup to add nutrients. I wish you well on your journey.

@@csmith6275 Once you are done with the therapy you can drink water if you like. In the GT you can have camomile tea or peppermint tea for more to drink. Hope this helps. It'll be 4 years since I stopped the Gt therapy next month! I followed it for almost 3 years. Made a huge difference. I do NOT recommend using a "special therapy" blend of coffee. Just an organic med or light roast coffee is fine. The therapy blend actually harmed me and caused to have to quit therapy.

I have had insulin resistance and gestational Diabetes twice. I love what you’re sharing only one word of caution; fruit is excellent but best to eat it in the morning alone win no carbs. The 2 types of foods together causes too much insulin to be released from both the liver (the liver which is natural) and ALL the cells of the body. Keeping them separate by at least an hour will do wonders for your health. See the book Fit for Life, how and when to eat (food combining)

Susan Resig yes thank you so much, I am just wishing spell out very clearly for those at risk. Many other people viewing with even slightly high may not realise this could jeopardise their blood sugars if they are doing everything correctly but not observing this rule about combining fruit with carbs. Once again this is in no way criticizing the information you delivered purely adding to it.
@susanresig84525 жыл бұрын
Roselyn Jakin hi again, may I ask you if you eat any animal products or oils or fat? That actually is the problem in diabetes. Insulin receptors become plugged with fat, the insulin cannot be used because it cannot enter the receptors and blood glucose remains unable to enter the tissues. The problem isn’t fruit the problem is fat. Please look into the Gerson Therapy or Forks Over Knives or Dr Neal Barnard or Dr Greger or Dr John MacDougall.
