Wow, your stash of “junk” looks a lot like mine! 😂. I also save tags from clothing and other stuff, some cosmetic packaging, and anything that inspires me. Napkins, sewing patterns….I do need to pare some of it down, I really hope you have lots of ideas for them, too! I need to make January a “use it or lose it” month 😂. We had no mail for a month due to a postal strike so I am so glad that I saved the ones I have. Starting at midnight I will have a few 2024 calendars to use.

I found you in mid-November and saved Nov's project. Now im almost finished with the December one. Im excited to see what you do in the new year. Your videos are a great way to get going. I have 'stuff' and love the process but your videos and freebies provide me a way to start. Really appreciate and enjoy your channel. Two years ago, I got a Wreck My Journal and fiddle in there occasionally. I'm going to continue to add to it but have realized incorporating junk journal techniques to that 33:44 book will make it much more interesting and personal. I'm not 15 yo 😂 so haven't dropped it 2 stories or from the top of a grain bin. 😂 Really appreciate your inspiration. Thank you for sharing your ideas via YT! 👏🏼 Happy 2025!!

I save used Altoid metal boxes to put smaller things in...words, little trinkets for journal covers. Then paint or cover the tins and label them.

I have tons of return address labels that companies send us free that have pictures and our name and address on them. I cut off the pictures to use as stickers. I have probably over 25 years worth of them.

I save some of the different packaging materials that come with Amazon & other orders. It just adds interest to a journal. There are various different types of paper that I've found at resale stores, such as old tracing paper, registry pads, and even homemade paper. I use vellum and acetate. (overhead projector slides) when making pockets. I also have a variety of folders. I'm trying to find something to do with the purple ones!

Oh! I have so many containers from the deli meats! I use them to place my tiny die cuts and keep them organized when I am ready to assemble my pieces. I like the idea of turning boxes inside out for storage. ☺️🙏🏼

I use the clear plastic flip top 5x4 containers that strawberries come in to store all of my smallish hand made embellishments. They store on their sides in my craft drawers and I can see at a glance what is in each one. Thanks again for all of the inspiration you have given me in 2024.
