I converted one of my vintage style leather guitar straps to do exactly that. It has a super comfortable shoulder pad. I couldn't be happier. Bought PDesign locks separately and incorporated them. My local shoe maker did the stitching for 5 bucks.

I hate camera straps. I'm in love with the Peak Design Capture Clips. I mount it to the strap on my backpack. Having the ability to use both hands at any moment without having my camera swinging around is a game changer.

I don't hate straps, I just hate having to own multiple straps when owning more than 2 cameras. The Peak Design anchor system is truly great.

Leica perpetually obsoletes their camera models by rapidly releasing new versions or models. Thus, extreme depreciation is part of every Leica camera owner's fate.

I disagree, compared to other manufacturers that come up with a “new and improved” model every year.

I totally agree with Sam on this one. Leica is slow moving when it comes to new models, used equipment depreciation is negligible and in some cases appreciates. John perhaps your thinking about some other manufacture? Thanks for the review Sam, I just received my Clever Supply regular strap and skinny wrist strap and am delighted with my purchases. I've used Peak Design clips for a few years and love them. It's nice to have upscale leather straps that use the clips.
