I agree with you about sapphire crystal. I really like the Falcon but the crystal ( Lorier seem to be like Seiko in ti's matter?) & the hour hand ( easy to tell what hour it is?-The arrow head seems too small? er...-just me?!) plus the import , etc. have prevented my purchase.

Very nice Lorier collection. I’ve got a black/gilt Falcon 2 & I love it! I have a 6 1/4” wrist & it wears so comfortably it’s ridiculous. I like the way you can take out so many links at the 6 o’clock position. By doing so I can wear the clasp flush against the flat part of the underside of my wrist, if that makes sense…

My neptune should be arriving in the mail on Monday. I had to go with the gilt dial because.... well it's just amazing to look at. As far as I know because I've never tried one on or held it in hand, the neptune is my favorite watch not only from lorier but pretty much any brand out there. I have been obsessing over it for the better part of a year and searching for one as well. As you probably know they are sold out so I had to go to the used market but I got an amazing deal on one after months and months of searching so we will see if it lives up to the hype once I pop it open. I'm also making my first unboxing video and what better watch to do it with. It could be a highly rewarding experience or completely dissapointing bit no matter what it will definately be entertaining. Who doesn't want to see someone's under dissapointment caught on camera, lol cheers and as always great video.

I had a Neptune V3 gilt dial and liked it. My problems were it felt a little dainty, I also didn't want to scratch the crystal and in the end I think I would've kept it if I had went for a different color. I've learned since I am not a big fan of gold or gilt.

I’m just not a big enough man to wear such a small watch… The 36 mm I mean…My favorite is the chronograph! I have a couple of the ST movements and they’ve been great… I do wonder about longevity though! Great group of watches their!

How much does the thickness and heft of the Gen 1 Hydra bother you? Asking because I have a Gen 2 Neptune (before the Gen 3's NH35-to-Miyota upgrade), and am wondering how much satisfying it would be to get a Gen 3 . . .

It doesn’t bother me. I like it. The gen 3 is just thinner and wears more snug to the wrist with the down turned lugs.

Neptune and Falcon are neck and neck imo. I’m more a dress watch watch guy but if I ever bought a diver, it would be the Lorier Neptune ✊
