I don't know if this is still true but a couple of years ago I was looking on apple music and found monster siren on there with all of the music up to that point. I haven't used apple music for a couple of years now but it has been there in the past. Edit: I mean even the bgm and battle themes were available for download as mp3s and the like.

im confused, doesnt monster siren have an entire website exclusively for music? i remember they even have a neat dropdown playlist for each event's music and they also upload instrumental versions of character/group themes so if one wants to do karaoke its there

My current favorite song would have to be Dormant Craving, but Undertopia would definitely be very close behind. I remember going to the Monster Siren website around September of 2022 and it auto played the instrumental of Undertopia and I fell in love with both the instrumental and lyrical versions instantly. I'm also loving King of Fiends from Ambience Synesthesia 2024. I also quite liked the Under Tides song as well. On the Drifting Poems soundtrack CD, Under Tides is on there and it's the only song I listen to on the CD. Adam Gubman recently said that the best songs he's made will be coming out soon for Arknights, so hyped for that!

i can not blame you for your num 1 pick, its one of my favs as well. i also love num 9. im a guy that loves fantasy animes and stuff and this song reminds me of all the fantasy shows ive watch. its a weird feeling but its amazing

Yes, 9 is quite unique! It was either that or Awaken, but I felt like the cheerful, wholesome, and pure-hearted energy stood out among what I usually come to expect from AK music. Variety is the spice!

Ooooh the first is nice and def surprising. Second is very nice, feels like saileachs saying its our home regardless of who we are. Right from upbeat to eldritch horror lol. Wlfmster! Lets gooooo such a great boss theme. (The other one i love is A Survivor A Winner, Cliffs theme) Pyrite ah yes the og unofficial theme song. (I think nowadays people say Infected by starset is) Eyyyy dorothys theme nice. Her en va actually sang a bit of this theme too. Ah no surprise radiant is here. Ooooh Requiem got a sad russian song here I see. Yesssss Towerfierce! Acceptable now, that there isnt wrathful cerulean flame and double dragons. Lol jkjk. Chapter 8 was just amazing. Number 1 is surpising but im glad there was one of the newer songs on the list. Though none from the cn side of things? Was this list mainly focused on global or none of the newer ones catch you? Great video though. Loved seeing your top 10.

I mainly focused on what's been available to us on global (just heard CC#12's theme which rocks though). I try to avoid spoiling myself too much these days outside of resource planning for gacha pulls. Glad you enjoyed the video. Hopefully I'll continue to entertain you. :)

I really love Towards Her Light because as it is also a beautiful extension of the story. This is Saileach's release song and represents the beginning of her story. She is an young and very naïve Victorian Army Flagbearer believing she is doing the right thing and that Victoria is the shinning beacon of that this song proclaims. Then as Chapter 9 of the story progresses she is exposed to the fact that Victoria isn't all she believed it to be, the oppression of the infected, the persecution of the Taran, the corruption of the politicians and military, and the human suffering that those actions bring. Which is is stark contrast to the beauteous fairy tail like song which she discovers is just sweet propaganda that the Victorian government wants people to believe. But it also represent Saileach at the end of the chapter. She want to help Rhodes Island to make Victoria into what the propaganda proclaims so she holds on to her optimism and want to make Victoria better. Which is why I love the song and think it a wonderfully thought out in universe piece. it is also a great example of how to enrich a story and character with context and music.

10) Excellent BGM, no notes. 9) I'm going to apologize ahead of my comment. Every time I hear this song I think of the song from Brave and just wish I was listening to that song and not this song. Objectively it is a good song though. 8) Classic, amazing track. This one and the faust/mephisto stage track are 2 of my favorites. 7) LOVE the chorus but the rest of the song is just too disjointed for me, overall still a good song but not my top 10. 6) Probably top 3 for me but if I'm being honest I have like 10 songs in my top 3. My top 3 would actually be my top 10 if I ever sat down and actually started writing it out. 5) Nice song, not my jam. 4) This 1 is a contender for my #1 spot, I have listened to it on repeat in the past. The drums are just SOOO GOOD! The synth and vocals are also amazing, in another song they would probably be my favorite parts but those drums man.... 3) Really cool song, not really my jam but I appreciate the authenticity and immersion that this song gives me. It's like lore and world building delivered in music form. It's a very cool way to do it and I love these immersive songs and the like fake real commercials they make for the live streams. That being said I would not put in my top 10 for music specifically. 2) I honestly don't see the appeal. It's not a bad track but there are a lot of ones that grab me more, I guess it's just personal preference. 1) In keeping with my earlier theme these types of songs aren't really my jam. It's still a beautiful song though. Some others that I would have probably tried to include, Alive by Alive Until Sunset, Ready? by D.D.D., operation blade theme, ceobe fungimist jazz theme, minimalist's boss theme, closure's shop music (I think that 1 was literally brain washed into me), der hexenkonig, golden age is here again... I'm quickly seeing how this could be challenging. You hit it on the head when you said you felt justified spending money. The music, among many other things, definitely feels like my money is being used to improve my experience rather than just lining the pockets of executives and shareholders. HG does so many things that they really don't have to do and are not the standard in the industry at all but they choose to do them to make the game better at their own expense.

It was so tough. So many of your suggested songs were in my honorable mentions. In some cases, I leaned towards variety when certain contenders were competing with similar energies/soundscapes, even if they were all songs I love and listen to more frequently than others. I jam out to Alive and Operation Blade's theme in the car all the time, and the rapid-fire piano in Ideal City's boss theme is just legendary - reminds me of my days playing DDR strangely enough. I'll leave my 'Honorable Mentions' list here (in no particular order) in case anybody discovers them, and even this list was challenging to get narrowed down. Arknights music rules! Gonna copy ian xp: 10) you took the questions right out of my mouth. But you do make a good point. As a starter theme it did its job of keeping me invested for the future 9)not my type of music tbh... Hopefully awaken isn't in the list too 8) climax is sss tier but the first half is a bit all over the place so unfortunately i think it gets powercrept by newer songs that are consistently a banger 7)Peak choice. The instrumental part constantly changing the rhythm is too fire 6)Top notch classic. Can't have a top 10 without it. 5)clean choice. I'm usually harsher on ep's since its not in the game but this is one of the few that brought my guard down. Relaxing but it still has momentum. 4) The views don't lie this goes so hard 3)meh. If i want a banger sad ak song I go to lullaby 2)its solid. Epic on first listen but starts feeling a bit generic with too much relistens so it fell off on my list 1)i mean it's aiight, but not in the game so pass My top 10 would probably be a bunch of boss themes, pyrolysis, ashring, der hexenkronig, and stressing over one of the home menu themes
