ep1 was basically the classic chaotic damsel in distress vash that we are all familiar with from ‘98 trigun 😂 im a bit sad that tristamp got serious quite quickly - it makes sense though, since there are only 12 (?) eps for s1. still enjoyed it ❤

Too much on cg man the original was a something so special that only real fans appreciate. I love the visuals but you have to keep it real to the original writer. Vash was an extremely intelligent humanoid who yes was playful and loved everyone but he wasn't this goofball all the time. He was bery stoic and risked his life over and over . Delgato was the only one to make him ever commit murder

Well, this is a reboot. It's not meant to be the same. It's taking an original concept and creating something new. If you want the same then rewatch the original. I loved the original anime but I also like what they've done with this version. What many people do when they sit down to watch a reboot is that it'll be exactly like how the original was. But where's the fun in watching the same thing that's already been done? With reboots, we know the characters and the storyline of the original creation. So while we watch we can get excited when we get easter eggs or reveals from the old anime. I understand the dislike for reboots with fans. However, some people like to see a different side to the characters they love. And who knows. Maybe if a season two comes out it'll fall closer to the og.
