Kinky Curly is neat because if you want it to feel like a cream you can rub it together in your hands for about 10 seconds and it gets super creamy. Has a ton of slip too.

I tried doing a routine for my wavy hair with what I had that didn’t work in the past because I wasn’t using it the right way. But when I did everything the right way and did the whole shabang it looked good at first but when it dried I shook out my hair to get rid of that hard shiny look from the styling cream and I still have waves but they aren’t very defined and kinda just a fuzz. Sooooo here I am looking for better products 😂

U probably do… u could try to add some products that enhance the curls and use a scrunch technique

I’ve been using the shea moisture shampoo and conditioner and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It makes my hair super dry and brittle and when I put water on it it feels as if I just got out of a pool. I also get lots of build up and itchy scalp. Do you have any recommendations?!😭

I love them to maintain and I feel they cleanse well! But if you have build up you might want to use something more clarifying in conjunction! A lot of people seem to love the sauve daily clarifying and my sister loves the Kristin ess clarifying shampoo!

And my personal recommend is the giovanni 50/50 clarifying balance shampoo. I also had issues with build up from the cantu hypoallergen shampoo (shea butter or coconut etc tends to bring more build up.) And that clarifying shampoo from giovanni really helped me!

I love the Maui Shampoos but their conditioners are so thick that it’s a struggle to get them to squirt out of the bottle. So, I won’t buy them again. I do like the purple Maui masque in the tub.

I'm desperate for a moisturising hair mask, my hair is drying so fast, like by time I've styled one side the other is almost bone dry! A lot of people recommend the Shea moisture one but I've been unsure because it's protein, but is it really moisturising as well then? My hair has loved protein but I don't know what's caused this new dry/frizzy issue i have!

Have you researched flash drying and its causes? I suggest Briogeo Don't Despair Repair deep conditioner as it's very moisturizing but also contains protein.

It varys and I don’t have it on a schedule, but probably around 2 or 3 times a month? It probably depends on how often you shampoo as well! 🙃

if you have lots of buildup I’d use a clarifying conditioner or clay mask and then go in with a deep conditioner (shea moisture has some good ones) so your hair isn’t over stripped and then style it how you like but maybe avoid heat for a bit

The leave in is supposed to give you moisture and easy the detangling process while the curl activator works as a styling product meant to be used with a leave in.

We have the same hair type but mine is longer. I use Cantu products from shampoo to moisture but I heard that even tho it says it's for wavy curly hair as well, it's more for 4+ hair type.... Is it true ? Like my hair is kinde heavy after I use those and during the day my hair gets REAL frizzy and looks unwashed....oily at roots but REAL dry at the lengths.....
