This is an awesome video, very informative. I played WRC series (starting at 7), Dirt Rally 1, Dirt 4 and SLRE. My favorite is SLRE no doubt, for its excellent physics, stages, Loeb experience and car selection. I need to revisit the WRC games with mods

For gamepad on Codemasters games, I've found 100 sensitivity and 0 linearity in settings to be the best. There's no delay in steering input, but it's not as twitchy as you might think. This tweak allowed me to get every achievement in DR2.0 including beating Colin McRae mode on very hard and the Impreza one on Newhouse Ridge. Even RWD on Sweden is controllable!

@LezaKim There's one person I saw on YT who uploaded hundreds of stage records and he only used D-pad on PS4 controller. I would say he's the gamepad master

Oh wow I'm surprised you encountered no bugs with V-Rally 4! I've had plenty. From game crashes, weird collision physics with props and AI opponents etc. I'll have to upload a montage and show you when I'm not lazy...some of the bugs I encountered were quite funny too haha.

I haven't had any major issues while playing this game for about 50 hours. KT rally games' physics engines tied to the game frame. So if the FPS is not stable, the vehicle behavior can also become strange. However, since strange collision physics is a common feature of KT rally games, I took it for granted.😂

제 렐리 입문작은 옛날옛적.. 콜린 맥래이랠리2였음.. 그당시에 오락실 이니셜디랑 콜린2를 엄청했었는데.. 지금 물리엔진에 비하면 허접했지만.. 바퀴 뜨는 느낌이랑 미끄러지는 느낌이 좋아서 아주 재미있게 했었어요

랠리 2.0 너무 재밌더라구요 어떻게든 사고안내고 스크래치하나없이 완주할려고 1시간을 리트했던 때가 생각 나네요 키보드로 했는데도 참 재밌었던 오랜만에 2.0 다운할까....!

I had high expectations for EA WRC 24, but for now (even though it has a huge variety of cars and tracks), I can't play it satisfactorily on my PC (I haven't even bought the WRC 2024 update). With all my attempts to optimize the game (I've tried everything), I recently had to buy a new HD (this time a new high-speed SSD), which has improved a lot in other games, but in EA WRC 24 (it still has small screen freezes), it's impossible to play a rally game like that. For now, to simulate the "2024 World Championship", I'm using Assetto Corsa with its mods.

I can help you with the stutters, lower the "Car Reflections" to the minimum settings, they're broken, on high end PC from Ultra to Lowest the difference can be double the FPS! Lemme know if this can help you!

@@settantahp8615 Good afternoon, I've tried everything. Last month, I bought a new SSD (2TB) with higher speed, just to install racing games. In Le Mans Ultimate (I couldn't install the 3 categories), now I can, and it's very fast (I don't know if they've made any extra updates), in Automobilista 2 and Assetto Corsa (also excellent now), Assetto Competizione and Dakar 22 (I haven't tested it yet). The strange thing is that (sometimes), I don't know why... EA WRC 24 is perfect (no crashes), it happened a few times offline (and sometimes online)...and it's a blast to play...but other times (the micro lags) mess everything up. I even tried copying/pasting (the "engine" file in the corresponding "%AppData" folder from other friends in Facebook groups). They say it's possible to edit better there, but I don't know how to modify it (to adjust it better). At the moment, the main things in the graphics that I leave at minimum or turned off (mirrors, reflections, public, shadows). When the car is in the "pit" to start the rally and the image changes to the car stopped on the track with the camera moving before the start, I can already notice if there are going to be problems (it's as if the image skips a frame)...

I thought I was one of the few who liked WRC4 😄, simple and entertaining game. I didn't like both SLRE and Dirt4, in fact I didn't like Dirt4 at all and SLRE because of its problems with the steering wheels. WRCG is not a bad game, I think it's one of the best KTRacing released, problems and all. VR4 isn't a bad game either, but I don't think it's worth buying especially since it doesn't have any online functionality, not even rankings (I actually bought it because I thought it had online rankings and it doesn't) and EA WRC isn't a bad game either but my laptop barely runs it. And for me the king will always be Richard Burns Rally, Hungarian version (which I don't understand why it's not in this video) , and then DR2.0, and WRC4 finishing my podium.

4070ti 컴퓨터인데도 ea wrc는 왤케 버퍼링 걸리는것처럼 늘어지는게 생기는지 하다가 열받더라구요 하... 요즘은 ea 로고 박힌 겜들은 다 ㅈ망 차라리 기존에 제네레이션 만들던 회사에서 제대로? 만들어주면 좋겠네요... ea wrc 타막은 너무너무 싫음

뭔짓을 해봐도 스터터링이 너무 심하고 유일한 해결책은 그림자 끄는건데.. 그럼 안그래도 구려터진 그래픽이 아주 구데기 같아져서 더 하기가 싫어지더군요. 타막 물리는 차량 몰때마다 스트레스가 밀려오고요.
