Thanks for the recs! I'm going to add most of these to my 2025 reading pile. I didn't read as much in '24 as I wanted to, so I need to catch up in the new year. I might start with that Incidents around the House. And congrats on finishing up your first semester of grad school. I have my master's in library media, and I've been working as a school librarian for the past 10 years. It's a great job. That Hey Kiddo book is pretty popular with my students, but I've never gotten around to reading it.

@@Oklaoz that’s so cool that you work as a school librarian. I’ve been thinking about possibly going that route but I’m still not sure. I can see why Hey Kiddo would be popular with students. It’s a great read.

I’m also going to school to be a librarian. MLIS. I’m only my second semester. Cool to hear you’re on a similar path. Good luck!

Fun, I really enjoyed hearing about your favorites! My reading year has been so disappointing, I just checked my numbers on Goodreads, and my average rating was 2.2! What? I'm usually a very positive person, so what is happening? Is it me or is it just bad luck? I don't know, I just hope 2025 will look up :) I did truly enjoy The Eyes Are The Best Part and We used to live here, so that's something! :)

Small Town Horror sounds like my type of book. Definitely on my list now. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend Summer of Night by Dan Simmons. I love that you review books as well as films, as I enjoy them equally. Love your channel Mandy, so well done.

I’m reading Malfi’s “Come With Me” rn. It’s a slow burn but really good. I can imagine his other books are also well written
