This is a really lovely video! Thank you for sharing❤ I bake bread once in a while for my relative who is 94 years old. It’s a nice way to spend some extra time with them, and I usually make it at their home so their home will have the scent of homemade bread. They said it reminds them of their childhood☺️

Add some lime/lemon juice and a bit more sugar to balance the spice. My grandmother would boil potatoes and macaroni noodles and pour the chili over it. She called it chili stew and it was delicious.

Hi Sarah! I've been in the world of sourdough this past year and thankful for your recipes (I also have five chickens so we go through A LOT of bread 😅). I bought your bread machine and love using it but was curious, when you run yours overnight on the leaven cycle, do you run the cycle right away or do a delay start so it doesn't rise too much? Thanks! ❤️

hi! great recipes! I would have thought you would need to hydrate the raisins before putting them in the raisin bread? Do you find they taste a little burnt in the loaf because they haven't been soaked before? this is what I do with mine. Thanks!

I have wondered why mine tasted 'burnt'! How long do you hydrate yours for?

@@Mamasfarmhousekitchen I usually soak mine overnight, but honestly even an hour or two should make them more moist.

Sarah, I've been making your sweet loaf since you've posted it. But for some reason, it comes out so soft that when I cut it it tears apart, or it falls apart when you pick up the sandwich. Is it just a dull knife or might I be doing something wrong? Bianca

Please do your recipes in grams. As I don’t find cups very accurate . Love your vlogs. Thank you ❤
@suzy9474-o2j10 ай бұрын
I agree please give the recipes in grams. It’s far easier to measure, you just put your bread pan or bowl on the scale and put the ingredients in. Here in the UK we don’t use cups; it’s not accurate and it makes things ridiculously hard work and messy.
