My Favourite Beach In The Outer Hebrides of Scotland. West Beach on Berneray...

I've photographed some of the best beaches in the Scottish Highlands, but West Beach on Berneray is probably my favourite. If the sand dunes, marram grass, white sand and turquoise waters aren't enough, then just add the amazing panoramic views, deserted beaches and raw natural beauty then you'll get some idea for why I fell in love with it….
I spent a couple of hours photographing the beauty of West Beach in preparation for a series of Photography Workshops I will running to the Uists in 2023 and 2024.
I am a Professional Landscape Photographer based in the Highlands of Scotland. I specialise in the teaching of landscape photography and offers residential and daily photography workshops. I also sell prints of my own photographs from my own studio.

It's a fabulous beach/coastline. We could easily spend a whole day there with the changing light and a whole variety of different types of photographs to take. Should be good and looking forward to returning with you guys in 2023.

Thank you….it was pretty fast weather systems moving through. Amazing, but those clouds didn't produce any rain..
