I think red can be very work appropriate, especially with more minimal eye makeup. Just like there are more muted corals, I think muted reds would be totally appropriate. I don't know why, but the red lip with minimal (or bone-colored) eyeshadow & simple black eyeliner is so French in my mind & very classy-looking. 💄👀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
