Yes! I always love when we have hype about MG&Cs lit. The Btonte book is just sooo good.

The little girl my mom nannied for when I was 10ish LOVED The Foot Book. I still have the first few pages memorized. Love it!

Starfish was the first book I read this year and I adored it! Frizzy was one of my favorite reads of last year. So many good recommendations here!

I love them creepy books for kids like Charlotte Sometimes by Penelope Farmer, Marianne Dreams by Catherine Storr, Come Back Lucy by Pamela Sykes and The House in Norham Gardens by Penelope Lively, i always find myself going back to these books. Best Wishes from England.

WTF? They refused treating you because you weren't light enough? And now they want you to lose weight? What is this??😮 I haven't read children's books in a long while.

Yes when I was a teenager and needing treatment. My weight was deemed too heavy to be treated. Which is absurd. I wasincredibly underweight. And then when I was adult and had gained a healthy amount of weight my doctor tried to prescribe me weight loss pills. Even though I told her I was recovering from an eating disorder.

yay George MacDonald!! 🥹 yes Starfish is incredible! your Grinch story is so perfect because I actually rewatched the cartoon this last Christmas for the first time in ages and was very struck by how lovely it was! I haven't heard of that Amanda Gorman picture book! definitely going to check that out Very excited to pick up Frizzy Harbor Me is so good! gosh Jacqueline Woodson is just so talented
