Many of you ask where I buy some of my quirkier clothes... well this is the store! I never really knew what a concept store was until I discovered this one. This is not sponsored... they truly don’t need me to promote them. But never the less, I thought you might enjoy a quick snoop.

I only heard the shop lady correct her one time. I thought that was very polite as she was filming for all her subscribers! Besides, mispronouncing something, accidentally, is far better than poor grammar and misspelled words that I see so often.

I love African fashion, the bright colours and designs...I have one skirt that I bought, in South Africa, and some very pretty colourful pottery too.....just love the vibrant colours!!! Take care all, stay safe!

Such an interesting idea for a shop to change its image like that.The dresses are just beautiful. And Matilda looks so happy to be in her stroller,and then have a paddle and a walk when she feels able,also means you can get out a little more if the evening is nice .So it’s a win win solution .Look forward to your blogs and your radio shows during the week.

I love that eco garden beside the tennis courts Jo. Also before the Langham, l worked in 12 Cavendish Place for BBC Publicity . 18 years old, into Georgette Heyer books and working in a Regency house with a sweeping staircase which brought the books alive...l was in my element!

I love the colours and patterns in the fabrics. When I lived in Abbey Wood I often took the bus fairly early on a Sunday morning to the gym in Woolwich. There is also a big church there in a former cinema, which lots of local African people attend. I used to love seeing everyone in their Sunday best, in their lovely brightly coloured dresses and head dresses. The clothes in this shop remind me of what I used to see on those Sunday mornings. How wonderful London can be!

I have wanted to say for a while how much I love your fashion and style. As a woman of a certain age I don’t see many contemporaries that wear heals/ platforms, enjoy clothes that are not the usual over 50’s style and you have re-invigorated that for me. Coco Foster thankyou Coco, you are so right. It’s funny how without realising I’ve been caring less about me. I think the Covid-19 situation has also made things so serious that fashion and style especially for older people has seemed a shallow indulgence (IMHO). Watching Jo has helped to change that in me.

You are very generous with your time, and making a most positive difference to those designers lives. (The shops in Marylebone have phenomenal rents to pay and business rates too. Their sales costs have to be high to cover their location ).

When you were climbing out of the water after your paddle we could see that your legs are so toned...yoga obviously works! So important for us over 50s to see examples of fit healthy people of our own age 👍

Hi jo.........yes it murderously hot and humid here in Toronto again.....it was so lovely last week I was out at a patio bar for lunch 2 days in a row .......the good news is our pool has opened again so I will be back at my pool aerobics hopefully 5 mornings and afternoons a week....thats a really interesting store that you were in, the clothes were gorgeous,a little too pricey for me.......I loved the banana handbag........why do I have the feeling you did buy that ??? Hi Jo! I am very new to your vlogs but am so glad that I have discovered them and you! I was a regular performer in the West End before the Lockdown hit us and I love seeing the streets of London as I miss them enormously. My playground was mostly Covent Garden and Soho and I had a lovely apartment in Henrietta Street right in the heart of Covent Garden. I love watching the places that you visit especially in central London, everything is so familiar but makes me realise how much I miss it all. I am not familiar with Marylebone but I will now want to visit when I return. I have discovered some new shops thanks to you and have just purchased a lovely white blouse from KJ's Laundry which is arriving tomorrow.......can't wait. I love shopping for fashion and always on the look out for something different so thank you for sharing. Hi Jo, if you love this then you would love Africa Fashion Week London, which is usually held annually during just before fashion week in August at the Freemasons Hall. A myriad of international and British African designers to whet your appetite and amaze you. Alas this year is a write off for fashion week so we hope to see you there in 2021!
