I would say yarnitecture is great for non-spinners too! I saw a KZbin podcast by a well known designer, who was surprised when their Noro singles sweater pilled…. Yarnitecture teaches why some yarns work well for certain types of projects and not others, and what to expect from a yarn of a certain build. With prices of good yarns so $$$, it is a really valuable book for anybody that works with fiber arts.

Just finished watching the 51 series and I enjoyed them all. I am so grateful for this video. Because of this video i just purchased The Spinners Book of Fleece and another one I found called Spinning, Dying and Weaving. I crochet and just got into spinning a few months ago and watching your videos have helped me so much. Thank you for posting. :)

Lost everyone you mentioned in house fire. And many more. Haven’t started new book purchases yet. So hard to lose so much .

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. 😢 I can't begin to imagine what that must be like. I hope nobody was hurt. Please let me know if there's anything I can be on the look out for when you start to rebuild your library. I know some of the out of print books can be hugely over-priced on the secondhand market unless you get lucky.

Regarding digital versions: my library has them! So I can check out, carry on my phone, and return, all for free and never a late fee!

Great point! Sadly my library’s digital content is really limited and very mainstream, but definitely a very useful option if you have it.

Awesome list of books! A book I have is called "Hand Spinning" by Pam Austin and it's been helping me get started in experimenting with colour and texture.
