What a blessing you are and finding your channel! I have been feeling like a displaced person for quite some time My brother Father and Mother all died in less than 3 months of each other a couple of years ago l was their care giver and also worked full time after they passed I had to sell our home and moved into a apartment within a few weeks i am 60 and a widow I have never lived alone and It was so difficult beyond words the loneliness engulfed me Thank God my 2 daughters live close by and I learned to cope and eventually enjoy the solitude it took some time adjusting not having anyone to take care of to cook for grocery shop for the endless trips to the pharmacy for their meds all of a sudden it was all about me lol and i kind of liked it and had to learn to not feel guilty about feeling this way Princess Diana who was my hero said that loneliness is one of the greatest diseases of our time I try to reach out to others now i work in the medical field and have to call elderly patients quite a lot They just want to hear someones voice to have some contact and be shown some kindness sorry for rambling on God Bless you just subscribed

I know this is a year old...haha...still watching. I loved the black top with that chiffon skirt, classic, looks great. I love the long skirts, Stevie Nicks look, love that flowy look with boots. Still have mine, but no place to go now. But I am waiting. My husband and I were Disco dancers we were so good and went to all the Glam Dinner Dance clubs in South Florida, 80s life was good. Now he is gone almost 2 years now, married 40, but he is in my dreams every nite, and I know he is with me every day wherever I go. The song that describes my life now is Michael McDonald and Patti Labelle, On My Own, I sing it almost every nite. You are a gift to us now. Thank you Susan, our Little Poet.

That skirt and blouse is so you. Romantic, flowing and beautiful. It is true the apartment was apparently not meant to be. You will find another treasure. I have lived on my own since age 17 and enjoy my quiet time. Hard to believe that is 50 years ago. I do not think I would have it any other way. Solitude is reflective time for me.

On your recommendation I purchased the Truly Yours serum foundation. Needless to say it is not working but I feel trapped because I'm on a very fixed income and he knows this. I'm tired of all the threats that he is going to throw me on the streets but listening to somehow gives me hope. I'll never give up cause all I want is peace and happiness. You got divorced for a reason, i couldn't live like that he blackmailing you, my ex boss did that if you complained he would threaten to close place down i lived with that for nearly 2 years and 2 weeks ago he fired me over nothing so he did what he said he would! Dear Susan I just found your channel you are so lovely. I'm 62 so I can surely relate to you. So sorry about your apartment but a better one is waiting for you. 5 years ago I though I had found the perfect house but sadly it didn't work out. My now 98 year old mother kept telling me over and over your house is waiting for you it's just not ready yet. Boy was she right we are all now living in the house of my dreams. I'm so in love with it and we are all so happy here. It is a hundred times better than the one I wanted so badly. Funny thing it is just around the corner from the one that didn't work out. Oh Susan, I’m sorry about the apartment and the disappointment. I know it’s hard, but it’s true that something better is out there that may suit you and Desi better. It’s hard to have the patience needed sometimes isn’t it. I have had a hard time finding an apartment that I can call home myself. Something that I can afford that is safe, though those two things don’t always go hand and hand which has made the journey more difficult. But I know something will come up soon for me, and it will happen for you as well. Keeping the faith❤️
