As for the plywood above ground creeper: I saw a video of a gadget at a recent car show where it was almost identical, but it was self supporting and you tilted the laydown board up and over the fenders etc to reach the far ends of larger vehicles like pickups etc. It worked kind of like an inversion board where you stood on it, and leaned forward and it tilted up and into the engine bay. I thought it was quite the gadget considering I think I'm a shorty like the wizard. I had to use a step stool when I did the coils on my F150.

Hoovie, how about you install a blaze cut system in the engine bay? It's a plastic hose filled with pressurized fire retardant. In the event of a fire, it melts and blows it's load all over the fire. Because most ferrari fires are fuel related, it would probably put it out easily. Cheap insurance!
