The white fiesta is mine, they couldn’t start mine due to security so have shunted it everywhere with another car, stolen 10 minutes before B7TMY’s. Black car I believe is a Nissan qashqi which will have a damaged front end.

Can't believe they still gone to these kinda lengths when usually they would move on and find another which doesn't. I wish everyone was in the know about the security stuff though because it's only a couple hundred and I've seen ST thefts happening since like 2018 or keyless theft generally years before that Hope you get it back or insurance company treats you well

I had a mk7 ST nicked in 2021, police after half hour told me it was case closed. Good luck with insurance after, anything ST I couldn't get insured. In a golf r now, actually cheaper to insure than ST was some how lol.

there was a black one parked outside my house the other month that has false plates on it i reported it and police took it away - the had stuck plates over the private reg plates and one of there plates fell off that's why i thought something was wrong. feel for you on this i would be gutted if my car went missing hope you get it back

yeah I've known about the keyless vulnerability for like at least four years if not five or six. Viper 106v immobiliser is the go-to to have fitted and only about 200 to have done professionally if you have any ST model. There's also some ones which have key cards which are pretty handy but more for other brands

Hope you find it man and really sorry to hear. Sad that this is still going on so many years later because I knew about the keyless stuff maybe being a vulnerability back in even like 2016 or 2017 being a thing and purposely didn't spec it on my 1.0 and was looking at maybe getting a MK7 myself as my next car after not driving for a few years and my 1.0 was written off from a rear end. Decided against it because be constantly paranoid from both increased chance of theft and also people trying to race. Definitely next time get a Viper immobiliser installed at minimum or put airtags or something in the car, but they're making it soon so even android devices will get notified if there's an airtag following them, so the thieves will probably then strip the whole car just to find it. The distinct spec cars usually get found so hope for the best. Could also look into getting a textured wrap with your name on or your plate etched into the glass or something in future

Unfortunately because your popular on KZbin and everyone no's your reg with car having loads mods then it be targeted seems like group gangs doing this sort stuff just have tracker future or use apple tag in car I got two my car works treat when stolen last year found it next street

Sorry about your car .Why dont you hide an Apple Tag in all your cars from now on .They are only cheap and so little/easy to hide then you can track exactly where it is from you Apple account .Where they are so little it would be nigh on impossible for a thief to find .Hope you find it good luck mate
