This is my favourite Mario Kart mod because I actually lose. In vanilla, you can just smash ass constantly against the computers once you get good enough, but in this, I’m still kinda struggling against the CPUs. 10/10 mod for sure. Thanks for everything, Arc

Nearly 15 years and this game's community is still alive... What an inspiration! Yet, I still have no idea how to mod my Wii games (even though there's so many crazy mods I want to try out, especially on this game). I've wanted to play mods for this game for years, but I could never work out how to put mods into it (I have never modded console games before and my PC's too old and slow to run Dolphin on it. It can't even run a DS emulator without lagging lol).

They’d have to have a way to turn it off tho. It is an amazing mod that balances the game, but newer players might be confused and really lose access to the biggest online mkwii service out there rn I’m homebreweing a wii for my younger brother and gave him ctgp but I’m refraining from giving him this as it is a huge leap from standard gameplay What I meant is ctgp can already have a big enough learning curve for new players, riibalanced is much higher

Idk how possible this would be but if u ever do decide to make another build for riibalanced, I believe it would be great for if instead of the textures being different, it randomly selected between the riibalanced textures and the Nintendo ones, given that most of the rii textures are at night you could even add a little moon or sun to show that it's the day or night version on the track showcase

I was just talking the other day about how Smash Bros and Mario Kart games are painfully unbalanced, and Nintendo never bothered to fix them, so fans had to do it for them, like Project M and Riibalanced. Nice to see this project is finally complete. Thanks for all your hard work. I hope CTGP and Wiimms will consider using it in the future so everyone isn't still just using Funky Kong on Flame Runner.

Hang on a second, I have Mario Kart Wii and ofc the Wii but the game is pirate so when I tried to Wiimfi it it just didn't work, so at certain part you mentioned that I could use dolphin for emulating it but that if I wanted to play online I'd need a Wii, does this mean that I can play without the MKWii game? Or maybe I need the original disk?

You dont actually need the disk but you need to mod your wii to extract the nand for online play
