I was lucky enough to attend your concert with San Francisco Symphony, playing (also my favorite) Barber concerto last night, and though I've watched a lot of your videos on KZbin, they had no match with your live concert, and you played so amazingly beautiful for Allegro and Andante, and lightening fast for Presto in moto perpetuo (I can only play it 3 times slower 😂) !!! Ray, thank you so much for this opportunity to share music with one another. I was amazed by your playing and your ability to make other people interested in music. Performing in the Tonic Stage and attending all the masterclasses, panels, and performances was an incredible experience and a huge learning opportunity. I can imagine how stressful and tiring this event was and how much planning was needed to make this happen, so I applaud you for pulling it off with flying colors. Dear Ray I downloaded Tonic, and must admit that my practicing hours actually went down as a result. That's fine, as I began learning the violin at 35 and won't be a performing soloist anyway. What inspires me to practice a lot more, *by far!*, is listening to you play in concert. My favourite so far is the Devils Trill by Giuseppe Tartini you played with Amsterdam's Sinfonietta. Such masterful performances actually ignite the flame in my spirit that make me say 'I want this for me'. I hope this will turn out to be useful advice to you. Hilarious. The struggle is real to push those carts. Leaving the others to go for a facial and sleep, I'm a good boss... 😂. Sure... (you are). It's much harder to run the show, as it is very exhausting. No rest for the weary. You coached them beautifully, patiently, and comfortingly. All the students practiced so hard and brought their best performances. You are so jovial and make the most nervous feel more at ease. You made so many new friends, they will never forget the magic of meeting such an admirable and engaging person who shows them how to improve without stopping them from shining. I would love to see TonicCon come to Lehman College in the Bronx (New York City). It is a CUNY school with a great music program, as well as a marvelous performing arts center. As a public school, they don't get the kind of visibility a school like Colburn gets, but the students and faculty are just as hard-working.

I found Ray's KZbin through TwoSet and there will be many others who did the same but many of us TwoSetters were not actually violin gang. Of those who were violin gang some may go to Hilary's KZbin or Chloe's channel. Many will have enjoyed hearing Davie504 and watch his very popular channel. Some will follow their own choice of musical instrument to maybe Lang Lang's KZbin or elsewhere. I would expect only a very minor realignment of subscription numbers, if any, at this point.
