Garowe is not the biggest or second biggest city of Puntland. The biggest is Bosaso and the second biggest is Galkao. Garowe is the administrative capital of Puntland. However, Garowe is growing very fast and within 15 years it might become the biggest city in Puntland and no doubt the third largest in Somalia.

Garowe shouldn't be a hot city. Kismayo used to be the third biggest city in Somalia but a lot has changed for the last 20 years. Besides, when considering the sizes of the cities, you look the land it cover, the population of the city and the density. It's not an easy to say which city is number three unlesss the city standout like Mogadishu and Hargaisa. Today, other than Mogadishu and Hargaise no one would know these cities how they are compare to on another. No third position today of these cities including: Khismayo. Garowe. Bosaso. Galkacayo. Borame. Burco. Baladweyne. Baydhabo. Let us know when you reach Bosaso how hot you feel.
