Yo. Where are you? I went to work out of state and had zero time to do anything, working 6-10s and driving 45min one way to the jobsite. It's not easy. Sunday I'd sleep til 4pm sometimes. But I haven't seen you in an N&F live forever, and since Bahzad and Risa retired from N&F a few weeks ago I really haven't been watching in fear of cringe, but I'll watch the Wonder Looper stream now that it's weekly. I don't know if I even feel the same way about N&F with Bahzad gone especially. If the lives are anything like the way the product reviews are with Garrett and Terry, I'm a bit nervous about watching. They're on Thursday now. Even "this week at Tate and Yoko" is getting over saturated with Garrett talking about different perfumes he likes and what music they're listening to, which I don't care. But Bahzad and Risa have that natural connection to the audience and too each other. Nothing sounds scripted. Bahzad will put the well-being of a customer over a sale and has talked me outta getting shit I don't need quite a few times. I don't know but follow me on IG if yr still around. Same @

Love your videos! Been getting into the selvedge denim. I just picked up a more affordable pair recently glad to see how they do! 🤝 hopefully this will open the door to much more selvedge denim.

I'm glad you found a fit you were looking for. This baggy fits thing has another 5 years in it before slim fits are back in again. Personally, I won't be jumping on the 90s sitcom look.

Thank you my friend, I appreciate that! Also I agree that slim pants are making their comeback. I definitely have my fair share of those already though, so I’m just expanding my horizons with wider silhouettes now though. I find appreciation in both 🙏🏽 Thank you so much for the love though my friend 😁

slim fits are dead, regular fits will always be in style

Slim fits are the fits that came after the relaxed-wide fits. Just look at the 49ers who wore Levi’s during the gold rush. But I’m sure I don’t have to lecture you on history, I would pray at least…lol. There is in “trend” in relaxed fits. They are the meta, they are the og, they are the original fit. Get wit da program bruh

I've seen a tucked belt loop, reinforced back pocket selvedge Jean just yesterday by the way for under 40 bucks... It is a bit crazy taper fit model though, so maybe it didn't sell well and is just dumped, but it stood out to me!

@@AlejandroJomar i measured my pair for you, so you can compare: Waist is a 31 with waistbandwidth of 16 inches Front rise: 12,4 inches Back rise: 17,3

I see the number 316 used a lot also by brands as model number. Is that something with a historical bearing, or some recent trend? Do you know what it means or the origin of it?

From what I understand, the owners of 3sixteen actually took the inspiration from the Corinthians if I'm not mistaken. I believe it is from a Bible verse. I'm not entirely 100% on this though. Sorry I couldnt be of more help, I wish I knew for sure, but I will def research on this more! 😁

Can’t decide between n&f solid black, levis lvc 512 or sugarcane 1947 type 3 all In black. Need help! Black selvedge phase going strong 💪
@AlejandroJomar8 ай бұрын
I have never had experience with LVC unfortunately so I have to rule that one out of my book haha. In terms of N&F vs. the Sugar Canes, I have experience with both brands, and love what they do respectively. However, I'd say N&F is one of those brands that's not so "repro" centric, and usually does tucked in belt loops and flat felled seams on their denim. Sugar Canes however are VERY repro centric usually, and make vintage style denim very well. I'd say at that point it depends the feel of the jean you're looking for. Hope this helps my friend! 😁😁

@@AlejandroJomar thanks man I appreciate it! It did help and I think I’m going with the lvc 512 because I think they are more limited. I can’t seem to find them anywhere else besides end. I know I can always get the others in the future. I think I heard lvc is going away…

I'm also on the hunt for some baggy/wide fitting selvedge jeans! I currently own the Uniqlo U Regular Fit selvedge jeans but want something a bit wider. I've tried the Zara x Studio Nicholson wide-leg jeans and I like the fit but want something similar in higher quality. I've also got my eye on ONI 222, Dawson Lot 27 wide & Full Count 0105W. Any thoughts? Just found your channel and I love it! Subscribed :)
