I will never forget my very first Bodypump class and how I wasn't able to walk for one week afterwards. :D Meanwhile, I do Bodypump for 5 years, at least 2 times a week and I love it so much! This is the most effective workout routine I know. And it'll obviously never get easy. ;) It has changed me (and of course my body) totally!

Couldn't walk for a week??? I went to my first class tonight having no idea what I was getting myself into. My muscles are screaming right now and I'm scared about how badly I'm going to be hurting tomorrow 😫

I️ use to lift weights on my own, but this class gives me such a better overall workout. Taking classes is def better

I love body pump so much! I am so addicted to that class. I go to that about 3 to 4x a wk. Wow my arms are looks amazing. My butt looks way better also.

when I did body pump for the first time, I previously had been doing a lot of endurance cycling and running. I thought I might be able to do the squats with a decent weight but it absolutely killed and no matter how much you try to shake out the lactic build up in your legs they will still shake like crazy. Even now if I miss body pump for a week and go back to it, it will hurt haha

Dylan doow lol stretch using the weights. If you don't facilitate your stretching using handweights, you've never reached your actual thresholds, which can only be done using weights. Well idn't that cute............ BUT IT'S WRONG!!!!

My legs were shaking so bad after my first class, I had to have my wife go re-rack the weights while I sat and recovered for a few minutes.

I loved body pump was taking it Monday through Friday now r gym just got rid of all classes trying to get everyone to do evofit class

Same. Had the nerve to get scared and not take the class. Started lifting on my own and hurt my back doing a lunge set with a barbell. Now I'm better off doing BodyPump so I can have the best positioning possible without having to go/paying a personal trainer. I will do so later though (the personal trainer); I just want to get started again!

I started playing bodypomp for a week and I'm done 🤪🤪🤪🤪😂🤦🏽‍♀️ this the class that showed me that I’m weak 🤦🏽‍♀️ but l Iove it!!!!!!!

We love BODYPUMP! It is such a great way to get started in the gym, and feel comfortable using weights. We offer body pump at all of our South Carolina locations as well! #LesMills

Do you need to sign up or just show up?? Is it included in membership or an extra cost?? Okay for the 60+ crowd??

They offer it at the gym I go to; I think it's best to show up and let them know you're a beginner. It should be OK for everyone! Just watch the weights!

Body pump is a class that Les Mills stole from a Brazilian program called lift training that was the first choreographed weight class

The only way to lose belly fat is to lose fat all over your body at the same time...unless you do something like liposuction.

Lol!!! If there are any dry spots on your shirt after a workout, you're not doing enough. Or you can lose 2-3lbs per hour and turbocharge your lungs! Hahaha look it up

+TheCJProject its great for beginners, if you choose the appropriate weights it can be more challenging. its also 60 mins no breaks... endurance not speed

+TheCJProject you can make it harder for yourself by adding more weights...and depending on the instructor you can do harder variations than what is shown

You can always add more weight, but what if that weight is missing certain targeted muscles? Also, every type of exercise in my opinion involves the core differently, as well as core muscle structures.

Pump looks easy but believe me it is brutal! I am a former power lifter but when i started pump class i realized how much of a wuss i was.

The worst health club bannatyne bhry st edmunds. Rats walking near enterence. One big mess. Cob webs in every corner in gym, changing room. Poop in shower is normal view...

minniemouze You do realize that getting the look is mostly diet right? So she can easily heavy lift like crazy and be top at what she does. But unlike you, she does not do it for a sixpack so she doesn't diet to get as little bodyfat as possible so her muscles will show. Doesn't make her a bad instructor, just one with different priorities than you.

Markersable that’s same here in the Philippines, a lot of people wanting to splurge money on food because it’s considered a luxury. I get called a skeleton and asked if I don’t eat, I don’t condone it, I rather take it as a compliment even though they intend to say it as an insult.
