Yeah I thought the same thing, so I actually started doing hotel reviews at the start of this year, I technically haven’t stopped but haven’t had much time to edit hotel reviews, but I am working on it :)

I flew Cathay Pacific many times from 1996-2004, connecting from Tokyo on a 747-400 upper deck Business Class (2x2), working in HK, and then onward to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur on a 777 In Business Class (2x3x2). Most of the time, I returned to HK and connected to Frankfurt, Germany on a 747-400 in First Class. I preferred Cathay Pacific's Business Class, but they finished in second place when compared to Singapore Airlines First Class, which was the best in the world at that time (in my opinion, anyway). I really enjoyed that part of the world. I was also lucky to be able to work in South Korea for 9 months. I don't miss the 200+ nights/year sleeping in hotels and another 30+ nights/year sleeping on airplanes, but I miss the people and the food! I'm happy to see that Cathay Pacific is beginning to recover from the pandemic losses and shutdowns, and that their service levels are also improving to where they used to be.

Greetings from Honolulu. Last week, I flew Southwest, Boeing 737 Max 8 from San Jose, California to Honolulu, flight is full, good and okay, almost 5 hours, the bin is big and almost full, they have USBA and C port, they have wifi, messaging is free and $8 to use the internet for the whole flight and free entertainment and TV to watch, they hand breakfast and water, which is good, I sleep 2 and a half hours, the seat and recline is good and okay, but unfortunately, I feel cramped because the seat width is bad, 17 inches, I almost don't have enough shoulder room to share with my seatmate, I feel a little uncomfortable, but I am okay and the lavatory is little tight, the sink is small and tiny, it's about the size of my hand.

Sadly, Despite Being a 5-star airline, Cathay Pacific is NO longer my Favorite A350 airline. Singapore Airlines is my most Favorite A350 airline, then Qatar and Lufthansa for my 2nd and 3rd respectively! Cathay isn't underperforming with A350s but the airline's better A350 competitors including Singapore!

people forget how senior execs at CP fired their staff and the cruel treatment of such when the Honk Kong and pandem things were in the spotlight, have not flown with them since. Hope the food wasnt sump oil, gutter oil and woodchip affected.
