Hey Milen, there are a few more places that you could consider visiting: Gokarna, Chikmagalur/Sakleshpur/Madikeri (Coffee plantations), Mangalore, Goa, Kerala etc. All these places are well-connected to Bangalore by buses (max. one night journey), trains and sometimes even flights. I think Gabriel has also visited most of these places so you can watch his videos to get an idea. Cheers!

We spent a month travelling around Sicily in a Fiat Bambino a few years back. Loved everything, the amazing archaeological sites, the incredible food and the friendly, down to earth nature of the people we met. The Aeolian Islands are worth a visit as well.

Very similar heritage my grandfather age 16 came with his best friend thru Ellis island from Naples. He learned a trade as a tailor at the NYC MET. Went on to raise a family with his own tailor shop in downtown Princeton NJ. Where he did handmade Italian suits ties and broadcloth for all the professors at the University. His favorite customer was Albert Einstein. Never learned to drive took train each day walked. Worked on his home garden till his late 70’s.

That was a Burrata on your plate near the pasta called fusilli with pistachio, the burrata is similar to a very soft mozzarella, they make it a lot in the Puglia region.

Concerning your heritage: If you're ever in Antwerp, Belgium; you should definitely visit the Red Star Line Museum. Around the turn of the century, Antwerp was the departure town for most of the people who were emigrating to the US. It's a very well laid out museum that focuses on the reasons of emigration, how people made it from their respective countries to Antwerp, how they spent their time in Antwerp for a couple of days and then of course the journey by boat and arrival in the new world. There are also plenty of manifests and registries of the people who made the journey. Would definitely recommend in your case.

When you go to Palermo you must visit the Cathedral and the Cathacombs of Cappuccini it's a very unique place. If the weather is good you can have a swim in Mondello beach lovely christal clear blue sea, very close to the main town buses go there. For food if you want the real sicilian experience go to eat at "Ferro Di Cavallo" it's a very good restaurant very cheap good wine as well.

I love that you are in Sicily. I will go back and watch the previous video that I seem to have missed. I hope you catch the train that goes around the circumference of Mount Etna - some cute villages and towns to stop on/off along the route. I think you catch the train from Catania but its not at the normal train station its elsewhere iirc. Your meal at the end was a Buffolo Mozzerella ball. Heads up in the UK we are 50/50 on hanging laundry out to dry versus using a machine to dry but since economic prices rose too high more people are reverting to hanging laundry out in UK. When you go to Sardinia please check out Bosa - very colourful town close to the sea.

Hi Gabriel, there are some things you can see near the Valley of the Temples or Palermo’s Regional Archaeological Museum. You also head to Syracuse’s ancient ruins and archaeological museum or Roman mosaics at Piazza Amarina. I'm hoping you get a chance to see some interesting places around Sicily before you leave. You may even want to stop in Capri and visit the Blue Grotto or ride the chair lift to Monte Solaro.

What you had with the pasta is a type of cheese, looks like a "burrata" more or less. Might have a different name in that area of Italy. It's not like a cream, and it's not typical to eat with the pasta like that, is rather to eat on the side. I guess they just put it to make the plate prettier and (tastier)

When you are interessted in Namibia. Namibia was a german colony before ww1 so when you want to visited namibia the best (only?) connection in europe is from Frankfurt. Sometimes a flight from düsseldorf over frankfurt to windhoek is cheaper than a direct flight from frankfurt. You can also reach Windhoek over South Africa or Doha. So when you are only 80€ away from Düsseldorf and you have a day left in the schengen area...... Lets go! The flight to Windhoek is really expensive at the moment. In December it is much cheaper.

This renunciation of Italian citizenship would also apply to their underage Italian children who are residing in the United States or born in the United States.” It is worth checking the exact date your ancestor was naturalized and whether he had to renounce his Italian citizenship.

God bless you and safe travels always!! 28:15 It's a burrata (mozzarella filled with cream). OK, let's try to be positive: the plate was half full... (I know pasta in Italy is only a first course, but weird presentation nevertheless.) On another note: Umberto Tozzi is a famous Italian musician. Quite a few international singers have covered his songs, e.g. Laura Branigan once did a cover version of his song 'Gloria'. Another very famous song is 'Ti amo' .

Tozzi is surely my favourite Italian musician. He also took part on the Eurovision Song Contest 1987 where he with Raf recorded third place for Italy. Gabriel, roughly how many flights do you think you have had this year? I've just realised that I've flown 15 times this year already and about to take another to Japan, I've been traveling everywhere but I'm slightly concerned about radiation.. do you ever think about this?

Good question and I'd be curious to know the answer, but it would take some time to figure it out. It might be around the same, maybe a little more. Not concerned at all about radiation though. Radiation from what?
