I studied in Granada, Spain for one semester my junior year, went back to the States to finish my degree, and then moved back to Spain. Now I've been living in Madrid for five years. You never know what can happen! Studying abroad is truly an incomparable experience, though not without its challenges. Things will smooth out, and you will have an amazing time! Álcala is a beautiful town! And, if you're ever in Madrid on weeknights or the weekend, I give group barre and Pilates classes with a really nice group of girls--I know that sense of familiarity and routine in a foreign place can really help so would love to have you join. I studied abroad in Sevilla during my sophomore year of college and had an amazing time! One of the best experiences of my life, although of course there were many ups and downs along the way. I made friends with a lot of locals, which really helped me improve my Spanish and get to know some parts of the city that most tourists wouldn't see. So I encourage you to go out and meet people!

I'm really sorry you had to go through that, this reminds me of my first day in Singapore. I landed at 4am, waited in the airport till 7.15am because I knew none of them will get me in. Reached the hostel around 7.40am, waited outside the hostel until 8.30am. That was an exhausting start to my journey. However, my time in Singapore was amazing, so I'm sure you'll be good too. Guys, why do you all say “Spain” instead of saying the actual city? It bothers me so much like Spain is a whole country, and she just mentioned once where in Spain she is. It really bothers me because Spain is a country, not an specific place so please do not say Spain as and expect people to know were you are in Spain. Spain has over 50 provinces so... Omg I’m actually from where you are staying. If I were you I’d visit Andalucía in april, specially la feria de Sevilla. Also you have to go to Toledo, País Vasco, Salamanca, Segovia, Valladolid, Santiago de Compostela, Barcelona, I mean everywhere! Also I saw someone comment something about makeup stores so like there’s like many Sephoras, Mac, Urban Decay etc, in Madrid and in calle mayor you have Druni witch seems like a drugstore but is actually really nice. As for malls look up “alcala magna” there’s also a bigger one in Torrejón called “parque corredor”

Hi, do you have any idea if its hard or not to get into an english university in spain and i dont mean boarding school or anything, for example to take your bachelors degree or something like that. Do you have any info on how high of grades you need to get accepted in a school? Also i searched and it said that for law school it was a 60-90% admission rate i think and psychology 50-60%. But i have no idea what that even means or how that works?
