My First Drift Event With a Hydraulic Handbrake

I've driven nearly all of my 18 events without a working handbrake and now I finally have a working one! I used to think handbrake entries were boring, but as a driver they are sooooo much fun!

My valve cover did the same thing and it was actually a broken peice of plastic around where the center bolts go also oil pressure gauge is a must

Your ECU could be pulling out timing because of the heat, intake temps and coolant/oil temps, that could explain your loss of power

Damn there was many e30 drifting. Engine oil cooler would help alot so you can hot lap more

Just out of curiosity did you locktite and safety wire the oil pump nut when you had it out? I’m sure you’ve heard about them sometimes having issues when drifting

Yup it was safety wired! They are definitely known to come loose sitting at high rpms.
