Honestly, I almost always forgot ascend was even an ability. There are so many times I made things unnecessarily difficult or wasted a bunch of time and making absolutely no progress only to remember ascend was a thing after the fact.

Those Gloom Hands can be scarier than Guardians....at least Guardians kept a certain difference and didn't restrict movement

I've beat the hands multiple times and still haven't found a great way of consistently doing it. Guardians were pretty fun once you got used to them. With the hands I still go "...oh no..." when they pop up. XD

@@ariwl1 With the hands the main means to combat them beyond hails of arrows, explosions, and dazzlefruit is technically high grounding to they give up. Problem with that is just forcing them to leave isn't really fun, and if anything I wish they didn't do that because on the chance I wanted to fight them, sometimes if you aggro too early you'll be out of reach and they'll give up before you can fight them.

Guardians would retreat if you got too close. Gloom hands are just master mode added to the base game.

Thank you for another hilarious and action packed episode! The hot air balloon shrine puzzle took me ages to figure out too. Your reactions to the Evermeans (evil trees) and Gloom Spawn (the Nightmare Nasty Jazz Hands act) was well worth waiting for! The Gloom hands are scary but even scarier when they appear outside...the sky turns red like a blood moon! In the Forgotten Temple, you jumped over the giant Goddess Statue from Skyward Sword, which has fallen down. That is a sidequest you might want to investigate at a later time.

16:57 The first time I got da hands I was outside, east of Hyrule Castle, so I was like “oh, that’s weird, a panic blood moon” before noticing the pool of gloom forming out of nowhere. Probably one of my fav new additions to the game. Kinda reminds me of Dead Hand from Ocarina, except you’ve gotta fight something much worse afterwards instead. At first I thought it actually was a new version of dead hand and got super excited. Still, even though it isn’t that, they don’t disappoint regardless.

The funny thing about the Hudson signs, I never realized they stand at the exact how you supported them.....immortalized as a permanent record of how well you did. I always made mine stand straight up and not budge when Addison lets go so I never noticed(promise not a humble brag. I just obsessed over these puzzles lol) It took the DeeBee way to reveal another amazing detail about the game :)
