That was probably the most emotional scene of any of my videos because it had been a very short time since he passed. flying is kind of a family tradition because my great grandfather was a WWII fighter pilot, my grandfather had his ppl, and my dad recently got his ppl. gotta continue the tradition yk. anyways, thanks for the support

@@NathanBrookhart My grandfather was also in WWII, but as an infantryman. My dad got his ppl later in life, at around 40. He bought a piper cherokee. He then got his A&P, as he was a DIY kind of guy. He wanted to do his own annuals to save money. He ended up being a part time A&P mechanic after he retired as an engineer. He loved everything about aviation, especially working on planes. I have too many health issues to fly, but I love watching these kind of videos. It would have been very cool to be in your shoes that day. Good luck in your aviation endeavors, Nathan.
