It comes with no fluid, even if they put fluid in it by the time you'd buy it you'd have to refill it cause of leaks, but it comes with no fluid, you have to buy that seperate.

If you're not gonna use it everyday couldn't you just store it in a ziplock bag so it's airtight and the fluid can't evaporate?

ermin oruc when Zippos are sent in for repair, I think they give you a new insert so it could be that the fix any damages on old inserts an cheaper packaging which would make it cheaper also Walmart buys them in bulk.

Zippo lighter fluid dries out after about two weeks in the lighter, even if it was filled it wouldn't have any in it by the time it was purchased.
