Clear stamps are made cheaply, so you go to really ink them well and press harder. That's why I love my red rubber cling stamps, gives a much better stamped image and detailed red rubber cling give a lot better detail image as well. Thanks for sharing, like every new tool you just need to keep practicing. :)

Thanks for the information! I haven't seen as many of the red rubber stamps here, the silicone stamps seem to be more popular.

I felt in love with this stamping tool from the first time. I went ahead and purchase one. Now that I have my Platform, I found out that if I double stamp not always will be good. It will double stamp a millimeters but it bother me a lot cuz I can see it. Ineas soo happy now I'm very sad,😥

That's a shame that it is not working as you had hoped. 😞

I have an update on this. I studied the platform and since y last review I have yo say improve the platform. I found that when you place the top between the pegs there is a slight movement is very small. If you place a straw on all of the pegs that movement will go away. I used one from berger king and that fixed my problem. I'm happy again 😃

Such a great video! I just bought my press, can’t wait to start making stuff! ☺️💌

Thanks I'm glad you liked it! Careful with the little magnets, mine jumped together in my hand and one of them broke in half! I can still use it, but not so nice and smooth!

The Sheep's Garden yeah as soon as I opened the magnets they shot together faster than I can blink !! Scared me but I’ve been stamping away! Such a great tool!

You can always double stamp, which is the point of a stamp platform. Corners can be tricky as well. Thanks for the tips about paper and removing the foam.

Is it hard to press down on the lid to get an impression as compared to pressing on a hinged tool? Thank you!
@TheSheepsGarden5 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried the hinged presses. This is not hard to press down, and I believe it is more even pressure than the hinged ones, (but not sure). I think there was a law suit about copyright of the hinged design, and that's why WRMK designed this!

Perhaps try putting the foam piece under the entire unit. That way there will be some give but it won’t be directly under the paper.

I hadn't thought of that! Good idea, thanks!

You'll probably want to put duct tape on your magnets so that if they snap together and shatter they won't do damage. Just fold it over them so they're in a pouch.

Yes, good idea, one of them broke after I made the video! 😞

The music is pretty but distracting.

Actually, you aren't pressing directly on the stamp in the first attempts. I teach stamping and sell clear stamps. The cushion will help you get a better image as long as you don't press too hard. I suggest having your fingers tap dance over the images, don't press so hard that you make the images stretch out of shape and get distorted. Rubber stamps have a cushion built into the back of the stamp, which clear stamps don't have. Keep working with it and you will finesse your technique and get perfect images on every type of paper surface.

Thanks so much! I will try your tips. Which do you think is more important, the quality of the stamp or the quality of the ink?
@cmhorton5 жыл бұрын
@@TheSheepsGarden I have had great success both good stamps and good ink, and not so great stamps or not so great ink. I just accept that not every image will be perfect, but it is only paper and I can stamp it again. I even stamp with watercolor markers on stamps instead of ink. (Watch Art Impressions videos on Watercolor Wednesday.)

You are not pressing correctly!

Thanks for letting me know, this was my first time using it and I wasn't sure how it worked. Could you explain how it should be used correctly, thanks!
