I will say this, you will never see a more violent pit than a knocked loose pit. In all my years of concert going, that day will always stand out to me. I saw them live once, they had to stop the show during the first song because there were already four people unconscious and the staff couldn't get through the crowd with the stretchers.

Hardcore brings a different kind of energy than Metal, it's also generally more groove-heavy and the lyrics are often about bettering yourself or changing society. I think Hardcore actually has more in common with Hip-Hop because it talks about real issues and its ties to street culture. I still remember when this band was first starting out. I loved it from day one, but none of my friends understood it at first. Then one of my friends came to me and said "I didn't understand Knocked Loose but then one of their songs came on at the gym and I went.....ooooooooooooooooohhhh I get it now". I got pretty excited when I saw this pop up, I found this channel like a year and a half ago from the Slipknot videos and haven’t seen much since, and while Slipknot is great Im actually pretty glad Alex has branched out and found some other gnarly stuff since then. Funny enough though both Knocked Loose and Slipknot are easily my 2 favorite bands to catch live, they are obviously pretty different in a lot of ways but each brings great energy to their performances and their crowds are always amped plus they both have pretty solid catalogues.
