Welcome to Ferrari 308 ownership 🙌🏼. I’m the proud owner of 1976 308 GTB and it’s my baby ☺️. Owning a last generation 308, you shouldn’t experience as many issues (fingers crossed 🤞🏼) as older generations 308 owners, especially if it’s been looked after properly and as long as you keep up the TLC these cars require. The 308's with 14" wheels were produced from 1974 until 1979. In 1980 the cars had metric wheels that were 390 mm. Starting in 1984 they were delivered with 16" wheels. No 308 ever had 15" wheels.

@@SpringtailsolutionsI had mine pushed in at a local body shop…they can purchase a kit and it was done in one day. Looks so much better and didn’t cost much. Good luck!

The 308 series Ferrari's are bullet prove when maintained properly. The key word in that sentence is "properly". There are individuals out there that claim to be Ferrari mechanics but are not. If you plan to work on the car yourself, get a shop manual, otherwise, find a known reputable Ferrari service facility. We live in an era when anybody can post DIY videos on channels like You Tube. Beware! I have found most of these individuals to be without Ferrari knowledge.
