My First Motorcycle 98 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100c Test Drive cold start practice after oil & spark

I have had a crush on Honda Shadows since I saw one outside of a bar many years ago. An affordable and reliable cruiser that has always grabbed my attention. This is my first motorcycle and so far I couldn't be happier. The 1100 is a lot heavier than you would think so it takes a little while to get used to. I wanted it over the smaller 750 size for possible longer highway trips once I learn to perfect riding it. I also like how many people state that it does well up to 30MPH in first gear. That makes for a very functional small town bar hopper type cruiser in my opinion. I may have to go through the carbs myself and make sure the previous owner did a good job as it is stuttering at slow speeds. The shifter is pretty sticky but I cleaned and lubed all linkage connectors and bushing where the shifter comes out as many stated this solves that problem. I also changed the final drive oil and noticed it really needed it as the oil was super thick and goopy. I am going out to practice some more and see if that helps. Either way I am having lots of fun and will be posting update videos along the way. I took off the windshield and it just looks so much cooler. Feels like I am riding the back of a Big Black Bull.
