This was so cool. Good to see the legend of Jack Cobey , so now I know who it is tearing up the track on race nights... ... I knew someone who used to race a Lotus 7... I went to 2 race days when he was out on track... So amazing to see that little thing with a 2L twincam toyota engine racing and beating 3.6L porsches, BMW M3's. .. Theres nothing like being in the pitts with the guys... all that hustle and bustle, and watching the guys blast down the track... Very envious of you having spent the day at the track... Thanks for sharing this.. And thanks to the Cobey Clan for giving you this experience.. Hahaha.. Jack grating gears!!! I believe you not sir Mitchell... 😂😂😂.

Great video Mitchell, and what a superb experience to have. After getting totally addicted to GT again, I'd love to get out on a real track. Like you, I've done track experiences before (at Brands), but my father-in-law owns a track-ready Fiesta ST150, so my hints to him lately are getting less and less subtle, hoping we can take the car out and do a track day like this! Haha

Thank you for your visit and comment. Watch this space and I might be able to accommodate that in a year's time, assuming that you are UK based. Seriously though, I had a Fiesta ST for a while and they are great little cars for track running. I never got to run min and regret it all of the time.

@@M.Mutleynothing definite because it will be very expensive and the channel will need to mostly fund the venture, but I’d love to get another track day car and invite my channel friends along to experience fast track running in a decently quick car. It’s all a big maybe though at the moment and the channel could yet fail. It’s a very over subscribed niche.
