Hey Mate, got a new Scott foil 20 for Chrissy. First big ride seat post starting slipping. Had to keep stopping to adjust it. Took it back to the shop. They added some paste and it hasn’t moved since. 🤙🏼 Hope that helps. Peace. ✌🏻

I ended up going with no paste and correct torque and seems to hold fine now.

I’m catching up on your back catalogue of videos mate. Really enjoying the energy you bring to it. What’s in the bar bag ? Also how do you get that shot from down by the bars looking back at yourself ?

some paste should do it, but never, ever be tempted to over torque it you'll crack the frame. Make sure you always use a torque wrench.

never really understood what the point of a Sportive is. Seems a very uniquely British thing. Roads are open, everybody starts at different times....why not just go for a regular ride??? ...or enter a real race for that matter!
@TheCyclingTattooist2 жыл бұрын
Because not everyone wants to race... and it’s a great way of cycling with a big group of like minded people! Especially if like myself you don’t have heaps of cycling buddies... 👍

Organised events are great, feed stations on route and at many mobile mechanics in case of damage that cant be repaired by yourself or incase its terminal and you need a lift back to the start.

Not uniquely British at all. They have them all over Europe and here in the US too. Usually for a charitable reason. It’s great fun and a great way to meet people.

@@PaulAngeloff I live in southern Europe and have never heard of a sportive here. Lots of real races, lots of gran fondos but....sportives no.
