They play in Dumfries, a very nice little town very far from rough Glasgow. I went to a game there in 1995 and there was definitely three times more fans on that home terrace on that particular day.

@@ffamrl5146 Really sorry to hear that. I was a fanatical Aston Villa fan aged 10 from 1968 and we had suffered a decade of decline, crowds down to 13,000 so I sympathise. I've always regarded Queens, Ayr Utd and Montrose as my favourite Scottish clubs and I look out for their results. Seen one game each when I toured Scotland in 1995. Hope things pick up soon.

@@malthusXIII-fo3ep we used to bring in 30,000-50,000 fans (home and away) over the 18 home games in a season, but in the last 4 years we’ve dropped to around 19,000, just over 1000 on average per game. We’ve been on a steady decline as a club, dropping from high end of the championship and almost reaching premier league promotion to now only being 4 points off bottom of league one. As an 18 year old fan myself I have not seen much of my clubs glory days and soon it looks like we will be heading down to the 4th division if things do not change quickly. However it doesn’t look like the manager is going anywhere soon as we simply cannot afford to pay off the rest of his wage for his 2 year contract to sack him… 90% of the players are poor quality and show no desire to play for the club
