I did my first shift yesterday. A 6 hour shift paid me $38! Fucking waste of my time. All the stress of driving around Los Angeles on a Friday night. Spent more money on gas.

Man, I swear these customers are chintzy! I just did another order of 40 items, 3 heavy that the poor lady had to carry up 1 1/2 flights of stairs. She was ecstatic stating that we made her week with just a $65 tip. Is it that tight out there? Mind you, we are not rich, but I won't order unless I can tip what I feel is commensurate to the job. $65 was maybe a tad too much, I don't know, but it made her happy hence I'm happy! 😁👍😎✌🗽

I run Gopuff and DoorDash at the same time. The Gopuff order is always longer so I can take one or two DD orders after the pickup and still get the Gopuff delivered on time. I work noon to 5 or 6 and average about $150 per day.

I’ve done it with Uber and I also was a driver on their app but I never accepted anything the pay was too low compared to the miles, the pay is not too good on Uber either

Have you signed up for DLIVRD yet? I just did Sunday, got a few good orders that I could have taken if I didn't have a 9-5. I would think rideshare is more profitable in your area than delivering?

In NYC - GoPuff is strange. I barely get orders and when the GoPuff orders are good the Uber and Dasher orders are better. It just never makes sense for me on ebike. During busy months I’m plenty busy with just those 2 apps. It’s either really low demand for GoPuff or it’s just really hard to be there long enough to even get 1 offer. …and now I see that even in Miami, you got an Uber at the end to save the rate. It just shows that it’s a pretty adverse system unless doing the shift. But the question is just always, why do it and give up the potential Uber and Dasher orders which are much more consistent. …that’s NYC at least.

Are you using apps like upside for your gas and fetch? Miami tipping culture is crazy too… they will tip no questions if it’s on the bill but if it’s not on the bill they won’t. I had an interesting time up in Surfside too not bad just different procedures when dropping off (concierge takes it at front desk… avoid that whole mess)

Yeah...you get orders like base pay is what u see in those new trip offers..you dont see the tip until you drop off...i did a 3 trip dropoff and with the tips it was $35. There are no tippers being combined with tippers. But i know certain neighborhoods..thats when i accept...lol.

Idk that’s a lot of miles :( I’d probably be stressed out while shopping thinking I have to drive 80 miles. If you don’t mind the miles then you can probably get some orders driving back. Most likely will be a $200 day :)

I did Gopuff in GA, NC, and NM they don't pay they pay use to be good but you had to many people taking advantage of the system so they changed things for the worst.

Unfortunately that’s what happens with all these apps. Us drivers take advantage of the system so the apps pay less and then us drivers complain about the pay. Kinda like if an app pays you hourly, drivers take advantage and milk the clock. I always understand both sides

Then you will have people on shift that were taking orders and then go do other apps while they have a customer's order and a car and they're like oh look I'm making extra money. In a few years later they fixed it to where the minute and order hit your phone you no longer get paid that hourly pay that you used to be getting the whole time because before it used to be paid the whole time now it's I think they change it to like you get paid while you're waiting but you don't get paid while you're out doing the order and then on top of that they had like glitches in the system where you couldn't dog on get the order off your system for like an hour because the people inside the warehouse couldn't remove it anymore it went downhill real quick and then they closed up a whole bunch of locations because they don't know how to run a company.
