This may be slightly biased since I DID start playing Fortnite back in C2 S1, but to me, Chapter 2 Remix just felt way more enjoyable than Season OG. Like, I enjoyed both, but Chapter 2 just feels much closer to how I view Fortnite and Remix captures that pretty much perfectly. *[WARNING! THIS COMMENT IS **_HHUUUUGGGEEE!!!]_* 1:24 As I've said before, I do think the fact that the devs were given possibly under a year to work on Chapter 2 Remix as a whole likely put some pressure on them. They prioritized the actual season itself and they've done a great job with it. And the fact they were even able to make 2 Events of any kind at all is pretty impressive. That being said, I do think they had to make some cuts with the storyline (as in the over-arching BR one) since this season wasn't planned to happen at all in the lore. So they couldn't really give it a proper lore-based build up. You can even see this in the lore tapes we have this season. Hope doesn't seem to make ANY sort of reference/ acknowledgement to the fact that we're on a different island. But her tapes do have an air of finality making it seem like we were meant to get some kind of lore-based Live Event at the end of C5 S4 to take us into Chapter 6 before all this. And yes, I do think a Travis Scott/ Ariana Grande type Concert event would've been even better if possible rather than the IRL Concert we got. But again, _is it doable in such little time?_ Could they have actually made it within their deadline? And even if they could, what about their presumed main workload for Chapter 6? All of which to say, I just hope the Prelude Event ended up like this because they were trying to tactfully spend their limited time, energy and resources into what REALLY mattered: The Season itself, and the Finale Event. (which IS apparently concert based. But since it's the true finale to the Chapter I hope there's more to it than that) 1:45 I'm not sure when this was recorded, but apparently Epic DID address this in a hotfix update a while ago with higher shield spawn rates and less High Rarity Weapons. Though if you asked me, it seemed a bit much since now it feels like Supply Drops, Rare Chests and Henchmen Chests are no better than regular ones. 2:10 I'll GLADLY switch lobbies with you if you feel that way! I've felt like I've just been experiencing the "Reload to Chapter 2 Remix Sweat Invasion" with how many insanely skilled players I'm suddenly facing each match in both Builds and Zero Builds! Since I don't care so much about having more Bots in my lobby, I'll take your lobbies in a heart beat if that were the case! 3:07 Some food for thought for that upcoming video of yours I guess: It IS important to remember that ultimately, Epic markets and treats Battle Royale as a game for Teens. Its rated 12+ by their own Age Rating system and to me it seems like most of their collabs are the sort that would expect to appeal to the teen/ adult demographics. I personally don't know/ listen to any of the Artists Fortnite's featuring in Remix so I can't personally tell you what "Morality issues" they could cause aside from maybe your kids deciding they suddenly like or dislike Rap Music... 3:39 I think Epic were mostly trying to Remix/ Mashup skins that were considered the most iconic of the period. Which would make sense considering it's primarily Season 2 based skins. (hence Midas x Meowscles) I don't know about you, but most of the BP skins from Season 1 and 3 weren't nearly as famous as Season 2's hence perhaps their lack of remixing here. In other words, *Fusion wasn't iconic enough to be 'worthy' of being mixed with Midas.* Then again, I don't actually know who Chaos Director and 1-Ball are mixed with, if anyone at all. 3:56 I feel like this is a bit of a backwards expectation in the sense that people only thought he'd be customizable because leakers said so and are now disappointed at the fact that he wasn't despite never being implied otherwise. As for the existence of 10-ball? Well it's not uncommon for Epic to add alternate variations of a BP skin in the item shop in that season, typically the opposite gender version. 4:43 (and/ or 2:39) I think in a way, this whole "Musicians taking over the BR Island over the course of the coming weeks" thing feels like they're trying to capture the essence of what Chapter 2 MEANT. To me, Chapter 2 was all about trying new things, putting a new spin on stuff. So it made sense that the return of Chapter 2 would come with it's own new tricks of sorts. (Of course, I could do without the Music Artists, but you can't have everything I suppose) Or perhaps, a 'caricature' of what people thought of Chapter 2 at the time. A Chapter of nonstop collaborations shoving themselves into the game with no thought for originality. A Chapter where the map barely changed. I doubt Epic would've been able to give us the FULL Season 2 and 3 experience any way with the huge map and content changes the latter brought. So drip-feeding the new Artist Boss POIs is probably the best way to go about it if they didn't want to rely solely on Loot Pool changes to make up the season's content. 6:05 I think a major difference is the fact that Reload is a lot more compact and dense with it's Map. It's a Map designed to be playable in both Builds and Zero Builds so it has to actively compensate for Hitscan in many ways that were never before considered. Meanwhile the Chapter 2 map was never built for that and is still open as ever. So ZB is definitely going to be a weird time, but for builds? I don't know, I guess all the sweats just hopped on for the "Sweatiest Chapter in Fortnite History" 7:43 I mean, it WAS for Season X wasn't it? The season that was supposedly absolutely chaotic with all those crazy explosives and mechs and whatnot? I think they just added them in to let Season OG end with a Bang. Many, many bangs. Including The Big Bang! I guess they just liked Bangs... 8:04 I don't know how exactly Epic calculates how easy to make the BP Grind each season. But I think it's probably trying to make it so that the average player (who may not even be playing daily, or much each day) can finish their BP in a reasonable amount of time before the Season ends. So those who're more active obviously get the BP done SUPER fast. But those who aren't REALLY going to be playing the game much, it'll still probably end up cutting it close. Especially if they want to get all the way to the Super Styles. 10:10 I don't think SUVs are in game since they're a Chapter 5 addition. Though I do find it weird that the customization doesn't apply to the Trucks since it seemed to imply it would in the locker. (Speaking of which, I think we should give an honourable mention to Epic finally giving the Locker and Discovery UI the update that people have been demanding for almost a year now for.)\ Overall, I'm really looking forward to Chapter 2 Remix as it goes on and can't wait to play more of it! I love the nostalgic Island with all it's iconic POIs and mini areas I remember fondly! And I really enjoy the many new twists and additions they've added like Hireable Bosses and that Car Jump Feature! Honestly, I wish they'll bring back Car Mods purely to allow that Jump Mechanic return as an attachment. And while I'm not exactly _happy_ that we've got music artists I don't care for taking over some POIs. I don't necessarily think it's the end of the world as they're still ultimately giving us the same POI and Loot, just with the additional chaotic flavour of being able to say *"Eminem's Rap God Minigun".* There are a _few_ minor nitpicks I have, but it's not enough to sour this absolute vibe of a season!

Og was well. Og. It was just ch1 with some missing locations. This remix is beyond remixed. It’s remixed to an add. Is the game fun! Well yes. It’s the good lootpool again. However the direction of what they are doing Isn’t good.

It's a Music themed season, I can't say I'm surprised that Music Artists make an appearance in it. But I don't really think this is indicative of anything other than just Epic determined to always try something different with everything. Even when returning old Seasons.

Brutus didn’t get a remixed in the battle pass

Me personally I would of prefer if they returned the old bosses from chapter 2 season 2 like Eminem and ice spice and snoop dog for me they weren’t a part of chapter 2 season 2 and the prelude event was absolutely disgusting 🤮 it was just a concert in Timed Square nothing was related to the storyline
